Description

As sure as Saturn has rings, a visit to the Miami Science Museum guarantees a fun time for all ages. Featuring interactive one-of-a kind exhibits, laser music shows, a wildlife rehabilitation center, and a state-of-the art planetarium, it's one of the country's leading museums. The ever-changing exhibits provide hands-on learning in an entertaining and dynamic atmosphere. Topics range from the environment and sciences to cultural heritage. Miami Science Museum is also home to South Florida's largest natural history collection, comprising over 60,000 artifacts and specimens covering zoology, geology, paleontology, and anthropology. Visit the Wildlife Center for an up-close look at exotic and native reptiles and watch as injured birds are rehabilitated at the Falcon Batchelor Bird of Prey Center. Planetarium programs are offered in English and Spanish.

Driving:

From the north: I-95 to exit #1A/SW 25 Road, stay in the right hand lane and follow the signs to the Museum. From the south: Follow U.S. 1 and turn just before the split with I-95. From Metrorail: Exit Vizcaya Station and cross U.S. 1 via the pedestrian overpass. Follow signs.

Included general admission with the Go Miami Card. Admission to any special exhibits is not included with the Go Miami Card. Additional admission upgrade must be paid at the Museum.
