Bike and Roll Brooklyn Bridge and the Hudson River Tour

Bike and Roll: Brooklyn Bridge and Hudson River Bike Tour lets you pedal on a traffic-free bike lane that winds along the Hudson River, giving you an up-close look at this beautiful river that traverses the length of Manhattan. Your tour guide will take you over the Brooklyn Bridge, which was the largest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its completion. From your vantage point atop the bridge, you will have a magnificent view of Hudson River Park; Battery Park- a beautiful recreation area overlooking the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, located at the southernmost tip of Manhattan; the South Street Seaport, the departure point for many New York Harbor ferries; and all of Lower Manhattan!

This particular Bike and Roll tour is not recommended for children under twelve years of age, due to its classification as “moderate” in level of physical exertion. Don’t worry though, you need not be Lance Armstrong to participate. As long as you are comfortable biking at a moderately fast pace with reasonable time for breaks over a period of three hours, you should not encounter any difficulties on this tour.

Tours depart from Pier 84 during the months of April-October, and all riders will be issued a helmet to wear in order to comply with New York City traffic laws. Enjoy the ride!
