The Discovery of King Tut tickets

Experience the amazing discovery and excavation of King Tut’s tomb first-hand. At THE DISCOVERY OF KING TUT, you get a chance to immerse yourself in the expertly crafted replica of the tomb’s chambers exactly as they were when discovered in 1922 by world-famous archaeologist Howard Carter.

You’ll learn all about the process of discovery, excavation, and preservation of one of the greatest discoveries from ancient Egypt. Compare the tomb with photographs taken by the famous Harry Burton documenting its discovery and see how it influenced the the Golden Twenties era.

Though the latest studies suggest that young king Tutankhamun suffered from serious illnesses, his death remains a mystery to this day. Don’t miss the chance to get an up-close look at where the king’s mummy was laid to rest and see the ornate gold mask, one of the world’s most famous works of art, and other treasures found in the famous tomb.
