Midtown Cruise by City Sightseeing Cruises offers more sights than any other tour of New York Harbor. It a 90- minute tour packed with sightseeing, photographing, and memory-making that you’ll never forget. Sail around the word-famous New York Harbor with the wind in your hair (or stay inside the climate controlled interior on chillier days), and take in the sights of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, and perhaps some you weren’t familiar with!

Midtown Cruise by City Sightseeing Cruises goes above and beyond giving you a great tour of the city, and will send a complimentary bus to pick you up (and drop you off after your tour) at many City Sightseeing Cruises pickup points throughout New York and New Jersey, as well as at ALL of the regular NYC bus stops along the 57th, 49th, 42nd, and 34th Street routes. Boats depart from Pier 78, should you decide to make the trek on your own. Many of City Sightseeing Cruises' buses are handicapped accessible, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for all passengers.

Once you’ve embarked at the pier, one of City Sightseeing Cruises’ licensed New York tour guides will accompany you on a loop of the harbor, and give you insights on the following sights along the way:

  • Empire State Building: Once the tallest building in the world, now a world-famous landmark
  • Statue of Liberty: A gift from France in 1885
  • Ellis Island: The main point of immigration for people entering America in much of the 19th and 20th centuries
  • Governor’s Island: A 172-acre island in Upper New York Bay, a half mile from the southern tip of Manhattan
  • Brooklyn Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge & Manhattan Bridge
  • United Nations: An 18-acre plot of land that is actually not considered U.S. soil, but international territory
  • Site of the World Trade Center: The completed 9/11 Memorial is slated to open September 11, 2011 on the 10-year anniversary of the second World Trade Center attack.
  • Hoboken Pier
  • Battery Park: Referred to as the "Emerald Doorstep to the Metropolis"
  • Chrysler Building
  • Jewish Heritage Museum
  • Wall Street
  • Greenwich Village

…and many more. All these sights make New York City’s skyline the most recognizable in the world, and this tour gives you a unique perspective on the whole island of Manhattan, while giving you the opportunity to take some postcard-quality snapshots. Don’t miss this opportunity to take in the splendor of the NYC skyline on your trip!
