Comments about Smart Destinations NY TV and Movie Sites Tour by On Location Tours:

The tour guide Amadeo made up for the rocky start. You have to love the TV shows and movies they focus on to really love this tour. I would have liked to have stopped at the Pulitzer Fountain but we missed it. He points out other sites of interest but as far as I understood it, there were only three stops. If we had not already taken some tours and visited Washington Park, where the first stop was, I would be really ticked!!! I didn't get my money worth since we missed the first hour.

Comments about Smart Destinations NY TV and Movie Sites Tour by On Location Tours:

This was the worst tour for several reasons: 1. Getting the ticket itself was difficult as you enter a hidden building on the west side all for a piece of paper stating where to meet up for the bus. 2. The tour was one of those ones you could do yourself if you googled where the relevant locations are (e.g. The Friends building) and used the subway. 3. The tour guide showed clips of movies as we went past buildings in a coach making it difficult to take pictures, partly because the windows were tinted but also because we were not allowed to stop at certain points so we just drove by. Save your money and go on your own movie tour by finding out where the sites are from the movies you have seen rather than spend three hours in a coach being driven past them!

Smart Destinations Response: We at Smart Destinations appreciate your feedback. We apologize that you did not enjoy this tour. We strive to include the very best New York City experiences to choose from on our Explorer pass, and this tour obviously did not meet that standard for you. We will be sure to pass your feedback on to our tour partner so that they can address this with their team. We hope that, besides this issue, you enjoyed all the other benefits of the Explorer pass.
