Sixth Smart Move
Go Orlando attraction pass card follows launches
in cities across the US
By: Mathew Hampton
May 27, 2005 -- US-owned Smart Destinations, a provider
of attraction passes, will be promoting its sixth card next week with
the launch of Go Orlando.
It goes on sale on May 31 and will cost around
£45 for two days. It will be available online at GoCardUSA.com
or through mainstream operators including Seligo, Keith Prowse, Virgin,
THomson and Thomas Cook Signature.
A Go Orlando Plus card is available
for durations of three days or more from around £80.
Smart Destinations
vice-president of international sales said he was very excited to be
launching the card in the UK, the largest international market for Orlando.
"The card will be for attractions in Orlando other than the Disney
parks and those covered by the Orlando FlexTicket," he said.
Highlights
include entry to the Kennedy Space Centre (usually £23), Gatorland,
Cypress Gardens and Watermania, as well as some non-Orlando products
such as Miami Duck Tours.
Passes for three days or more include a dinner
show at either Arabian Nights or the Pirate's Dinner Adventure.
The
card also comes with a pocket-sized guidebook to all attractions covered,
and discounts of up to 20% at participating shops and restaurants.
The
Orlando card follows Boston, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle and Chicago
in the Smart portfolio. Brett said a Go Florida card was also in the
pipeline.
"We'll be launching a Go Los Angeles card in the
autumn and a California card, which will cover smaller destinations
such as Palm Springs," he added.
