Go San Diego Card is Just the Ticket for Users

October 3, 2005 -- The Go San Diego Card is an all-inclusive Smart Card that enables customers to breeze in and out of San Diego’s top attractions for one low price. The Go San Diego Card, launched by Smart Destinations this past June, offers its users unlimited admission to more than 35 top area attractions and tours. The all-inclusive Go San Diego Card delivers something for everyone, plus savings of up to 30 percent on shopping and dining. Perhaps the most appealing thing about the Go San Diego Card is the great price: it’s offered as low as $19 per day with multi-day cards.

The Go San Diego Card includes free admission to the world famous San Diego Zoo, LEGOLAND® California, Petco Park, whale watching excursions, Miramar Speed Circuit Races, San Diego Bay Cruises, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center (including an IMAX movie), the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, a dozen unique museums in the heart of Balboa Park and much more.

The card also includes attractions and tours that enable users to explore outside the vicinity of San Diego. With the Go San Diego Card, travelers may visit Tijuana, Mexico on a guided tour with Contactours. Wine connoisseurs may utilize their Go San Diego Card for a full day adventure in Temecula with Grapeline Wine Shuttle (tour retails at $56 each but is included on the Go Card for free). Others can head up to Los Angeles to visit four different Hollywood attractions.

The Go San Diego Card is an all-inclusive access pass to exploring San Diego and its vicinity. Users enjoy freedom, flexibility and value, while checking out all there is to see and do in San Diego. Using the guidebook to lead the way, travelers receive free admission to major attractions and exclusive discounts on dining and shopping.

San Diegans and visitors may purchase the Go San Diego Card online at www.GoSanDiegoCard.com, through any of Smart Destinations’ global distribution partners or at the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau’s International Visitor Information Center, located at 1040 1/3 West Broadway (at Harbor Drive) in Downtown San Diego.
