"The card is great for the value. For two of us, it basicaly paid for itself after a couple of attractions. We used every bit of it we could and where we could."

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
We purchased 4 Adult and 2 kids 5 day cards. The card saved us heaps of money. the tours were fantastic, couldnt get to all the attractions but definately got our moneys worth. Recommend hiring a car to get to the attractions on the otherside of the island, highly recommend the Kualoa Ranch Sunset Experience (bonus choice option on the card). Visit Pearl Harbour Arizona memorial early and definitely visit the other attractions USS Bowfin and Missouri as they are fantastic dont forget the audio tour (included on the card) Hanauma Bay tours book up fast especially the 7am pickup so book this tour 1st. highly recommend this card, will purchase again when i return to Hawaii next.

Can't say enough good things about our first trip to Oahu and how this card made everything so easy

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
The Go card is a great way to save money. I bought a 5-day card & did 2 tours a day. This saved me lots of money. I did 10 tours total for about $200 per person. I went last year and went on 3 tours & it costs about $250. There's lots of planning involved but I did all of it including the reservations before I went. The card was easy to use. The only time I didn't like it was when the driver didn't have the machine with them and they had to take us back to their office to swipe the cards which delayed another 15-30 mins.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
Great product; highly recommend it. Many activities do not include transportation, you will need to have to arrange for your own transportation.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
We purchased 5 7-day Go Cards for a 10-day family vacation to Oahu. The cards worked flawlessly at every location and we tried almost all of them. Places I recommend as a must: Pearl Harbor – Arizona Memorial, Battleship Missouri, USS Bowfin, and Pacific Aviation. All of these attractions are top notch. Tip: Plan to get there early to get ticket for Arizona Memorial. Polynesian Cultural Center – Very nice attraction. Wish I had a few more hours there to visit more. Suggest full half day starting at noon. Also used our Bonus Attraction here to see the HA Breath of Life and dinner. HA Breath of Life was very good, dinner was just OK. Tip: PCC is away from the other attractions. Give yourself 40-60 min from Honolulu to get there. Hanauma Bay Snorkel – We Snorkeled in 3 different places and this was by far the best. Well worthwhile to spend 2-3 hours in this area. Tip: Be aware you will need to pay $7.50 per person to get on the beach and the tour part only includes transportation and equipment. Makani Catamaran Sail – This was a great experience and my family loved going out on the ocean and seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from this view. Tip: I suggest you make reservations a week ahead of time since they book up fast and we could only get an afternoon sail the week of. Diamond Head Hike – Nice way to see Diamond Head crater as well as a view from the crater rim. It's a good strenuous hike up taking 30 minutes going at a good pace. I suggest this rather than driving because they have little to know parking. Also, taking the morning hike because it gets very got in the afternoon. Only drawback was we had to wait 1 hour once we came down for the bus to return. Bishop Museum – This was much better than I expected. It is the place to go in order to see Hawaiian history. Movie Site and Ranch Tour at Kualoa Ranch – Kualoa Ranch is a must see when visiting Hawaii. The Kualoa Ranch has a few different tours and I wish I had more time to take a few others but we took the Movie Site tour which was fantastic. The Bus driver was great and provided the group great commentary on the tour. Tip: Reservations are required however I was able to make them in the morning for an afternoon tour. Snorkel Gear Kailua Kayaks – Kailua is a great place to visit. Beautiful beaches. We did both Snorkeling and the Kayaks. I would not suggest Snorkeling since other sites we visited were much better. However renting a Kayak was awesome and we Kayaked on the river that was close by to get the hang of it then took them out off the beach into the ocean. They have an island that is about 30-40 minute Kayak ride out which is a great experience. Places should do if you have time: Byodo-In Temple – Beautiful place to spend an hour but a little out of the way. Good to drop by going to Polynesian Cultural Center or Kualoa Ranch. Dole Plantation – Beautiful gardens and a fun train ride. Got to have a Dole Whip which is mighty tasty. A little out of the way is the only con. Iolani Palace – The best way to understand the history of Hawaii specific to its royalty. The Palace is immaculate. Tip: Get there early to get a ticket for one of the hourly tours. Japanese Cultural Center – This is a short tutor of the history of the Japanese in Hawaii. Very interesting facts about how the Japanese where treated as they came to Hawaii. Tip: Park in garaged under building and they will validate and the self-tour is less than one hour. U.S. Army Museum – Interesting self-guided tour coving the history of the U.S. Army in Hawaii. The site itself is very impressive since it was setup as a site to protect Honolulu. Take about 1 hour to go through. Would not waste time: Beach Gear Hawaiian Ocean – We got a few boogie boards for 1-2 hours. The boards themselves where in bad condition and they do not provide the flippers to more easily catch waves. Also, there was way too many people in the area so if you do get a board, I suggest going down the beach so you do not get mixed up with newbies with surfboards. Wet'n Wild Hawaii – Spent about 2 hours there. It's very small compared to other water parks and a lot of their attractions alternate open/closed because they have a minimum of people. My kids where bored within 1 hour. A few general suggestions are: Plan ahead based on the location of the attractions to optimize your time. Also, call ahead to get hours of operation since these are not correct in documentation. Make sure to have some break days where you don't use the card. I suggest every 2-3 days of doing activities on the card you should have a day of rest/break relaxing on the beach. Be prepared to pay for parking for most of the attractions on the card, typically $5-7.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
Just returned from a week in Oahu and this was a great purchase. We got 2 Go Cards for 3 days and with a lot of planning and reservations ahead we got a great deal.Note the Makani Catamaran only accepts Go Cards on Wednesday and SUnday sails only. It would be great if this is mentioned on the GO Card book. Also the people with the Diamond Head tour are pretty rude incase you need to cancel a tour previously reserved. We had to cancel ours since we were travelling with a 3 yr old and a 1 year old. After reviews found out the hike wasnt going to be simple with young ones tagging along. When i called to cancel their customer service was horrible but that didn't ruin the trip. Dont waste your time at Sea Life we only visited it since it was included. You can do the entire park in less than 1 Hr. Last show is at 4:30 so you need to plan accordingly.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
we visited the movie tour and was .5% short to perfect. The microphone and the speaker that the tour bus uses was not so clear and hard to understand due to the buzzing sound. Other than that, it's perfect. The place was well preserved and so green. No wonder movie makers love to film here.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
This card saved me and my girlfriend a lot of money. We bought the three day card, we used it for the catamaran ride, wet n wild park, pearl harbor, and our bonus offers included the dolphin encounter, and I played golf at moanalua. Just remember to plan ahead, make reservations as some excursions require this. I would also check to see where these excursions are at on the island so that you can maximize your card. For example, we did pearl harbor and the wet n wild park on the same day since they are relatively close to each other. We did the catamaran cruise and the sea life park on the same day as well since they are on the same side of the island. The golf course was in poor condition, the only thing good about the course was that it was free and I got to swing it. The fairways were more like the rough, the tee boxes had weeds and massive sprinkler heads on them. I wouldn't pay to play this course at all. I would've rather used my bonus offer on the luau. Other than that I would def buy this go card or any other one. Planning on buying the go San Diego Card.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:
We used the 5 day Go Oahu cards and feel like we got a great value from them. We purchased the cards online and had them mailed to our home several weeks prior to our departure. Since I had the cards early I was able to sit down and plot out an itinerary and call ahead to schedule tours, etc. This turned out to be a good idea as some tours book fast. The most frustrating thing about using the cards is that pretty much all of the activities start closing around 5 PM, so make sure you get an early start or you won't get much done. Our itinerary was as follows (includes comments on attractions): Day 1: Grand Circle Island Tour - this was informative, but be prepared for quick stops and a lot of driving. Glad we did it early so we had an idea of what our priority sights were. There was a stop at the Dole Plantation, but you don't get much time there, only about an hour. We had planned to go back to do the train and the maze, but decided it wasn't really worth our time. The only thing we did at Dole was walk around the gift shop and try some pineapple desserts. The desserts were just OK, and I wish we would have used that time to check out the maze or the grounds some more. Day 2: Makani Catamaran breakfast sail followed by a day at the beach using the card for the trolley, a boogie board, and beach chair. Makani was nice and they were able to get us really close to whales on our cruise (we went in February). The breakfast included doughnuts and fruit and it disappeared quickly; so if you're a big eater you might want to grab something else b/f arriving at the boat. Day 3: Pearl Harbor and City Tour in the morning w/ Germain's Luau that night. If we had to do it over again we would have driven out to Pearl Harbor on our own as the tour didn't give us enough time to see the USS Missouri and really explore the Museum. We had to race through the Bowfin, but at least our admission was covered by the Go Card (make sure you get your tickets as soon as you walk into the park, as the front ticket office is the only one that can process it for you.) Germain's was OK, but not the highlight of our trip. The bus ride out was fun, the food was mediocre, and the 2 included alcoholic drinks were strong. Glad the drinks were strong, b/c they made the "entertainment" bearable. If nothing else we can say that we've been to a Hawaiian Luau. Day 4: Byodo-In Temple and the Hawaii Sea Life Park. Byodo-In is in a beautiful setting and there is some wildlife there as well including peacocks, black swans, and smaller birds that will eat right out of your hand. FYI it was also one of the locations used in Lost Season 1 - Land of the Rising Sun. It is pretty far from Honolulu, but it should only take about 30 minutes to walk through. We have a 3 year old, which was the main reason we went to the Sea Life Park. It's pretty small, but they put on some nice shows and they have the only known walfin (1/2 killer whale, 1/2 dolphin). This place is geared towards young children, so you might want to skip it if your crowd is age 10+. Day 5: We went back to Makani Catamaran and did the snorkeling tour (additional $15 pp, but the usual rate is over $60 and you get 2 free alcoholic drinks). There were a lot of fish and we saw several turtles while snorkeling. Most of the fish were black and not very colorful. I have experienced better snorkeling in Mexico. After lunch and changing we headed over to Iolani Palace. We would have liked to have gone to Queen Emma Summer Palace too, but we had a flight to catch.

Cards are activated upon first use and are good for the number of calendar days of activity you have purchased.
We suggest counting the total number of attractions you would like to see and dividing it by how many attractions you can realistically visit each day to come up with an estimate. For example, if you want to see 6 attractions and you can reasonably get to 2 each day, then buy a 3 day pass. 6 attractions / 2 attractions per day = 3 days.
Based on customer feedback, people tend to visit fewer attractions each day than they expect. Remember to account for meals, travel and rest time, especially if traveling with kids. Remember 3,5 & 7 day cards include bonus attractions and that the Go Oahu Card is good for admission until 5:30.
Child tickets are for those 3-12 years of age. Most attractions are free for children under 3.
Yes, unused cards purchased this year expire on December 31 of next year. We will refund the fully cost of any unused, unexpired passes for one year from the date of purchase.
A single bonus admission is included only on 3,5 & 7 day cards. You are entitled to one free admission to one of the eligible bonus attractions. You do not need to choose which bonus admission you want at the time of purchase.
The Go Oahu Card is valid for admission from the time an attraction opens in the morning through 5:30 pm. If within normal hours of operation, you do not need to leave the attraction by 5:30, just be in the door by then.
Days of the week. For example, if you activated your card on a Tuesday, whether you did it at 9 AM or 5 pm, Tuesday’s usage counts as one day and does not extend into Wednesday.
Some attractions do require reservations. Please be sure to check the attraction details in the guidebook or on our website to determine if you need to make a reservation with an attraction. Please be aware that some attractions may require a credit card number to hold a reservation.
We recommend having your card shipped if your travel date is more than 2 weeks away. Having your card shipped saves the time associated with travel to a redemption location, which may not be near a desired attraction. Card ‘days’ are based on calendar days, not a 24 hour period, so shipping allows you to fit more sightseeing into your day.
If you choose to pick up your card at your destination, you will be presented with a printable voucher at checkout. You will need to bring the voucher to one of our redemption locations and exchange it for your card; you can’t use the printed voucher for admission.
Yes. We have several Go Oahu Card sales locations. Please be aware that any sale pricing seen on the website is not available at a sales location.
Orders placed before 3PM on regular business days will ship the same day. Orders placed after 3 PM on regular business days will ship the next business day.
Time in transit will vary based on the shipping method you choose.
