How it works

What is a Go Oahu Card?

A Go Oahu Card is an attraction pass that gets you into 34 Oahu attractions plus one premium attraction for one low price.

How does a Go Oahu Card Work?
  • Just select how many days you want to sightsee — we offer 1, 3, 5, or 7-Day cards.
  • Your Go Oahu Card grants you admission to all 34 attractions for the number of days you bought the card for, plus 1 premium attraction on one of those days.
  • Simply present your pass at included attractions between 9:00am and 5:30pm.
  • Visiting your first attraction activates your card. Then, use it over a two-week period.
How will I receive my pass?

You can choose to receive your pass:

  • Instantly on your smartphone — the most popular choice. Includes a digital guidebook.
  • Instantly print at home — just print it and go. Includes a digital guidebook.
  • Physical Card via Mail. Includes a full-color guidebook.
  • Pick it up at one of our in-city pickup locations.
What are the premium attractions?

Included with your card, choose free admission to 1 of 4 premium attractions. When you arrive in Oahu, you can choose from HA Breath of Life - Dinner Show at the Polynesian Cultural Center, Dollar Rent A Car (Jeep Wrangler Special), Germaine's Luau or Kualoa Ranch Experience and Lunch Buffet.

What else does the pass include?

You'll get a guidebook with detailed attraction descriptions, hours of operation, and a map to help plan your itinerary. Plus extra dining, shopping and entertainment discounts to help you save even more along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by calendar days over a 2 week period?

Your Go Oahu Card is valid for the number of days you bought the card for, and you can take up to two weeks to use your card.

For example, if you activate a 3-Day Go Oahu Card on a Monday, then your card will be good for that day and 2 more days in the next two weeks. If you decide to go sightseeing again that Friday, then you will have one day left to use, and so on.

Please note that these are calendar days, not 24-hour periods, so start your day early to get the most out of your card!

How do I "activate" my card?

Simply visit your first attraction!

How many days should I buy?

Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. Our most popular card is the 3-Day card.

Is my card valid all day?

You can enter attractions until 5:30pm with the Go Oahu Card.

What is your refund policy?

We know sometimes travel plans change, even at the very last minute. That's why, if you don't end up activating and using your pass within a year of the purchase date, we'll give you a full refund. No questions asked.

Here's the best part: unlike our competitors, this built-in cancellation insurance comes with every card purchase — free of charge.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to initiate a refund anytime within 1 year of your purchase, please call our Customer Care Team at 800-887-9103. We'll tell you how you can return your non-activated card or pass.

Please note: Activated passes are non-refundable.

Which delivery method should I choose?
  • Instant delivery is the fastest option. You'll be able to access your Go Oahu Card from your email or on your phone immediately after you purchase.
With instant delivery you will receive a printable and mobile version of our guidebook.
  • Having your cards shipped in advance will save you time traveling to a pick up location when you get there. Note that transit times vary depending on shipping options. View delivery options.
  • With in-city pickup you can get a physical card and full-color printed guidebook without waiting for shipping. We will email you a voucher which can be redeemed for passes at one of our voucher redemption locations.

Where can I buy the cards in Oahu?

View a list of sales locations in Oahu. Note that in-city purchases are available for full price only.

Does a Go Oahu Card expire?

Yes. You have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire.

How much will I save?

We’ve made it easy to compare the combined gate prices with the price of the Go Oahu Card, to see how much you could save. Try our Savings Calculator!

How many attractions can I visit in one day?

On a Go Oahu Card, you can visit as many attractions as you want in a day from 9:00am-5:30pm.

Can I visit an attraction more than once?

In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the pass. Please reference your guidebook for specific information on each attraction.

What is the age cut off for child cards?

Child cards are for children ages 3-12. Most attractions do not charge for children under 3 years old. However, there are some exceptions (especially children's museums and attractions geared toward very young travelers). If you have a child under 3 years old, please check with the attraction directly in advance. You may be charged at the gate.

Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?

Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.

Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.

What happens if an attraction is closed or a tour is cancelled due to weather or other problem?

While we do our best to ensure that all attractions are available, events happen that are out of our control. The great thing about a Go Oahu Card is that there are so many attractions to choose from. If an attraction is closed, or cannot be visited for some reason, we know you'll find a fun alternative in your guidebook!

What do I do if my Go Oahu Card is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately, it cannot be replaced if it is lost or stolen. Please treat the card like cash.

What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. Go Oahu Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to Oahu as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

Good for family with kids and on schedule looking for activities to do. Things that aren't so great for us is that we like schedule free vacation. Although we tried to book activities, half of time that timing was not right for us or sold out cause late booking. I only used 2 days but we purchased 3-day passes. I do not wish to buy this again.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

It was very good experience using these cards. I haven't figured out how much I saved but I can tell you we were very busy every day and got in as many sites as possible and the card literally paid for its self by saving us a lot of money. I requested our cards be mailed to us and the mail-service was quick and the booklet that came with the cards was very helpful in planning our days and making sure we made reservations ahead of time when required. Awesome experience!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

We purchased the 5 day Ohau card for our 7 day trip. I had booked my tours and activities ahead of time (at least 2 months ahead) to avoid disappointment and to make the whole process of using the card for activities very smoothly at check-in. The tour guides were all very professional and knowledgeable and friendly. I and my 5 friends were very impressed with the service. We saved about 35% of the total cost on our activities visited amd we managed to visit all the places we wanted with the card.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

When I used the GO San Diego Card that was fantastic since we had rented a car. But this time with GO Oahu Card was a terrible experience. Because I could not rent a car this time, we only can take the bus and it costed a lot of time to most attractions. So we need to plan in detail and should miss the bus in a right time! I strongly recommend that the person who want to buy and use this Card must rent a car. Otherwise you will feel tired and loss many interesting point. Plus, I hate making a reservation because it would disorganize your plan. Also I suggest that the SmartDestination should establish a reservation system instead to do that one by one. Anyway, the attractions we have been to are wonderful and the people here are nice and helpful. Remember to rent a car with you!!!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Oahu Card:

We came to Hawaii to see our child perform with a choir group. We were staying additional days after the choir left, so we purchased the 7 day pass for 6 people. We used it all 7 days! We did make the mistake of using the card one day before we should have and so we missed out on a day of visiting the Bishops Museum. So sad. Byodo-In Temple was neat to see and if you need extra days on your card, pay cash for this is was very inexpensive. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center 3 or 4 times. To actually see all that we wanted to and not feel rushed. We saved so much money using this card there!!! We paid extra for the Luau which was worth every penny! The dancers were so classy and their show was excellent. The food was wonderful also. The show "Ha Breath of Life" was great fun for the kids and we loved it too. The Dole Plantation was amazing and we had fun in the maze!! Beware you may have kids meltdown if they can't find all the stamps in the maze!! HAHA The train was fun if you want to see vegetation and fields of pineapple. We went to Hanauma Bay to snorkel using the tour given by Kaimana Tours, LLC,. We used the tour since they provided equipment and a driver. It was nice to have a break from driving. The snorkeling was great fun!! Our kids had a great time! The Makani Catamaran afternoon Sail was so fun, but we did not get to go close to the whales, like they said they would when saw them. I recommend you use Bonine® before you go if you get sea sick!!! We did our own island tour due to demands on our time and it was awesome. We were able to see the whole tour in about 2-3 hours and stopped along the way to see what we really wanted to. I printed out my own guide information and we had a fabulous time! We went to all the same places and the Grand Island tour; we just did not take all day doing it. Battleship Missouri Memorial, USS Arizona Memorial - Audio Tour, USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, & Pearl Harbor were amazing, plan to spend the entire day if you love to read all the plaques in each museum and have loads of fun!!! We also had the headphones that told you all about the stuff and it was great. Kualoa Ranch: Secret Island Beach is among one of Hawai'i's secluded beaches great for a fun-filled beach day of kayaking, canoe riding, standup paddling, beach volleyball, badminton and ping pong. Or just relax in a hammock under a palm tree. We had an awesome guide who made the girls wreaths for their hair and just was fantastic. We also did the Kayak as a group. I think in all there were only 12 of us on the beach for our 3 hour time slot. Iolani Palace the tour was fantastic it is amazing living restorations in all of Polynesia and immerse yourself in Hawaii's royal heritage as you learn all about them! (Yes we are geeks and love museums and history stuff)!!! Diamond Head Hike by Kaimana Tours, LLC. We took this tour, so they would drive us to and from and then we did not have to pay any fees. It was such a fun early morning hike we did the 6:20 am pick up and were hiking by 7 am while it was still cool. It was a great hike and fun to look out over the ocean and the city from the top of the hill. I can't begin to tell you more much we rocked the Go-card in Oahu! It was such a great time!! We literally saved ourselves a couple thousand by using this card!! So worth the money we spent to purchase the 7 day card. The only disappointment was Germaine's Luau if you are going for the free alcohol then have fun. But if you want a very classy Luau with excellent food, I would highly recommend the extra cash for the Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
