Sunshine, sightseeing, and shopping. That’s what you’ll get on the Grayline Honolulu and Shopping Tour! Drive through downtown Honolulu and be transported to some of the city’s most revered landmarks as you make pit stops at some of the best shopping areas. With unobstructed views on this double-decker bus, it’s simply the most scenic way to see Downtown Honolulu and stock up on souvenirs!

Just a few highlights of the tour include:
The Kawaiaha’o Church: This historic Congregational church was originally commissioned by the regency of Ka’ahumanu during the reigns of Kamehameha II and Kamehameha III.  It was finished in 1842 and was frequented by the chiefs of the Hawaiian Islands and was the site of royal coronations. It was in this very church where Kamehameha III uttered the phrase which translates to Hawaii’s official motto – “The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness.”

‘Iolani Palace: The only royal palace in the United States, ‘Iolani Palace was governed by two rulers during the Hawaii monarchy – King Kalakaua and Queen Lili’uokalani. After the monarchy was overthrown in 1893, ‘Iolani Palace was used as the capitol building for the Provinsional Government until 1969.

King Kamehameha Statue: Across the street from ‘Iolani Palace, this is the most recognizable Kamehameha statue. The first version of the statue was lost at sea on its way from Europe. The later statue is the 18-foot bronze statue that stands tall and proud today.

Mission Houses Museum: Established in 1920, the Mission Houses Museum collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits documents and artifacts of Hawaii’s missionary period from 1820-1863. The houses were built by the missionaries themselves and are a beautiful spectacle.

You’ll also visit the Ala Moana Shopping Center - the largest open air mall in the nation, Ward Shopping Center, Don Quijote, historic Chinatown, the trendy Arts District, and you’ll have the opportunity to stop at hundreds of local eateries surrounding each step along the way. With six pick-up locations and tours leaving every 2 hours, the Grayline Honolulu and Shopping Tour is simple, convenient, and fun for the whole family!
