Make the most of your visit to Waikiki Beach with Hawaiian Oceans Beach Gear. Your pass gives you a free three-hour rental of a boogie board, umbrella, chair, or fins. Or grab a surfboard and drop-in on some waves with a 90-minute surfboard rental. Best of all, you can use your card at Hawaiian Oceans Beach Gear once each day for the entire duration of your Oahu pass!

Get a tan or just take a break and take in the sights! Waikiki allows for prime people watching in a gorgeous setting, and no matter which rental option you go for, you will leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for more of Oahu! The name “Waikiki” means “spouting fresh water” in the Hawaiian language, and is named for the springs and streams that feed into the wetlands of the interior. The water is quite shallow, but it is clear and beautiful. Waikiki Beach was once a retreat for Hawaiian royalty, who used the beach to practice their skills on the early version of longboards. Today, the famous beach is dotted with resort hotels, and half of its length is cordoned off for surfers. The Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Sheraton Waikiki are among its current landmark resorts.

Needless to say, Waikiki Beach is the spot to people-watch and get a glimpse of legendary Hawaiian surf culture in action! Hawaiian Oceans has something for everyone, regardless of their beach-day preference, so don’t miss this chance to relax on the white sands, or play in the waters of Waikiki!

It is on the nice beach. But the old lady with the glasses' reception was mean. Today was the first time i used the Go Oahu card with her booth. I was asking for the umbrella and the chair on the beach. But she said all rent out. But there was 1 umbrella left on the side an whole punch of the chairs by the booth. What i wanted to say is, if you are paying for it, she got everything for you. If you are using the go oahu card. You got nothing, or you just got some whatever you are asking for. Guaranteed won't get them all.

I was born and raised on Oahu, but never did surf. Took my first surfing lesson 2 days ago. Karen is a GREAT teacher. She makes you feel comfortable, is easy to talk to, is very patient, and allows for questions. She even reassures you that what you are feeling at the moment is very common and very natural. Karen gave instructions on the sand and had me perform her instructions before going in the water. I was in the water for 5 minutes and she got me catching my first wave. Thanks, Karen! Other staff members are also full of "aloha". Thanks Jon and Tomoko! I'll be back soon.

This place was great. I got a boogie board and my husband got a chair. They even carried the chair to any spot on the beach you choose. The workers were friendly and helpful. Took about a minute for the whole transaction. I would definitely recommend. The place is steps to the beach (probably less than 50 feet to the water) and is in a great location to go surfing, boogie boarding, etc.

I rode waves on my first lesson! Karen is the best! I only took the lesson to keep my son company...we both surfed our first waves within the first hour! Like I said before...Karen is the best!

We used our Go cards to rent surf boards for the girls and beach chairs for us older folks. There was plenty of beach gear and the people were very nice and helpful. The location was fabulous and easy to find because of the statue and the police station! There was a photographer there at the stand who took all kinds of photos and tried to sell them to you. We didn't mind because he got photos of the girls surfing that I could not get with my camera. Too bad we waited til our last Go card day to do this. We should have gone to the this place every day!
