For fun in the Hawaiian sun off the coast of Waikiki Beach, there’s no better place to head than the Waikiki Ocean Club on the pristine Pacific Ocean.

Swimming in a refreshing pool on a hot day is great, but sometimes nothing short of a dip in the ocean will do. At the Waikiki Ocean Club, bathers can swim to their heart’s content in the Pacific Ocean’s wonderful waters and then dry off in the spectacular sun on the deck of the catamaran. There are also three platforms for diving and a 15-foot slide to go down if that’s more your speed! Take advantage of snorkel gear and explore all the underwater offerings in the area.

For people who want to take part in other aquatic activities besides swimming, there are certainly plenty of options to choose from. For an additional cost, take a Jet Ski out for a spin, hit the waves on a banana sled, or try parasailing. Kayaks are also available.

Sun-bathers can indulge themselves with a wide variety of food and beverages while gazing at the Honolulu & Waikiki cityscape. The Waikiki Ocean Club proudly serves up hot dogs and burgers as well as alcohol individuals who are 21 years and older with a valid ID.

The Waikiki Ocean Club’s floating lounge setup also means that it is an ideal spot to hold parties and events. A picturesque place for almost any occasion, the Waikiki Ocean Club’s staff will gladly work with you to help plan any function or event that you have in mind.

It’s recommended that guests bring a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes. The club provides complimentary ground transportation to and from properties in Waikiki and the water shuttle service operates to and from the Waikiki Ocean Club Catamaran between the Ala Wai Harbor and Waikiki.

The Go Oahu Card is the best choice for maximum savings and flexibility. Your pass includes Waikiki Ocean Club tickets, plus admission to dozens more top attractions.

The shuttle from your hotel to the Zodiac (inflatable tender) to the main attraction and back is worth half the cost by itself. A brief orientation starts a day as lazy or active as you'd like. The kids liked paddling around in a kayak while I played Diver-Dad and Mom played lounge-chair occupant on the upper deck. There were no complaints or bored looks on anyone's mugs. If you've worked up an appetite, almost any food tastes good so the burgers and chicken sandwiches went over quite well with the bags of chips though some fries would have been better. A Longboard or two will help. Prices were reasonable for a captive audience situation. The staff is young, enthusiastic, talkative, helpful and full of Aloha spirit. The view from the floating fun-house is worth the other half of the price of admission so look at the activities as a bonus and you've got a nice day-trip.

Not sure what the first reviewer went through but my husband and I had an amazing time! So much to do aboard. Banana boat sailing, kayaking, and jet skiing all available at an additional cost but there's still so much to do for free. They provide snorkeling gear and life vests so you can go out into the Pacific on your own!! If you jet skii, take goggles!!! The salty water in your eyes at high speeds isn't fun

Old And Boring Not on time

Comments about Smart Destinations :

We were supposed to be picked up at 8 am and they didn't show up until we had to make a few phone calls only to be told to move on with our days. We came back to the hotel and called them again and finally they sent a driver. We were taken to the boat about an hour after the promised time. It was a huge boat with only seven people on it which made it very boring. There was only music and friedly staff. Everything else was extra money including jet ski and banana boats, etc. When we ordered food, they didn't accept credit cards and didn't have change for larger bills. All in all, it was a waste of time.
