Comments about Smart Destinations Waikiki Hop On/Hop Off Trolley:
We used the trolley both for seeing some of Honolulu and as transportation to some of the sites. It was less convenient as transportation due to limited pick up sites and waits. It worked well, though, as a means of seeing some of the city. We had experiences with a wonderful woman at the main station who helped us figure out which line to take and an experience with a rude attendant at one of the other stations who didn't seem to want to be bothered with tourists and their questions.

Comments about Smart Destinations Waikiki Hop On/Hop Off Trolley:
Waikiki trolley is a great, relaxing, informative, enjoyable way to see parts of Oahu. A big drawback is the Go Card's one pass per card limitation. Note: a similarly priced, competing Visiticket Honolulu Power Pass offers one pass per each day of the duration of the card, which is much better.

Some drivers are very good. Beware that the car might break down and you have to wait for another 35 mins before the next car come in.

Comments about Smart Destinations Waikiki Hop On/Hop Off Trolley:
I assumed we could just hop on the trolley, flash our Go Cards, and get on our way. Not so! We were told by the driver to find the shop at the Galleria and get our tickets there. So we trekked all the way over there only to find a saleslady that didn't speak English and told us to come back tomorrow. So we did, and we finally got our trolley tickets. They were good for two days on any line. We chose the red line and took a historic tour around Honolulu. It was fun but took a while. We also tried out the pink shopping trolley, which was way too overcrowded despite coming every ten minutes. It was nice that we had a stop right in front of our hotel. I wish all lines of the trolley operated all day. Pink is the only one that runs through the evening.
