Go Orlando Card
Reviews

With the Go Orlando Card, you'll get access to over 49 attractions. Plus, skip the line at top sights, save with special discounts and get free bonus attractions on 3, 5 or 7 day cards. Just choose the number of days you want to go sightseeing, and take up to 2 weeks to use those days!

Learn how it works or talk to one of our travel experts at 866-628-9036.

How it Works

  1. Pick how many calendar days of sightseeing you want. You don’t even have to choose what to do in advance and have up to 2 weeks to use those days. Simply buy a pass for each person who will be visiting attractions and you’re free to do as you choose. Child prices apply to kids ages 3-12 years of age.

  2. Have your card shipped or pick it up at one of our redemption centers at your destination. We recommend having the card shipped if you are buying two weeks or more in advance. This gives you more time to visit attractions and saves the hassle of getting to and from a redemption center, which may not be near a desired attraction.

  3. Swipe your card and go right in to over 50 attractions. Just present your card at the ticket window for admission between opening and 5:30 PM. The staff will swipe it and you’re ready to go. 3,5 and 7 day cards also include one free bonus admission and you can even skip the line at many top attractions!

  4. Plan ahead online, or use the free guidebook to decide where to go once you’re there. Either way, having an idea of where you want to go will help you get the most out of your pass. Make sure you read the details for each attraction to find out specific admission information and if reservations are required.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

This is the second year in a row that my family and I have used the Go Orlando Card. We have a timeshare and are able to visit Orlando every other year and just got frustrated with doing the same thing every time we go. Last year I stumbled upon this and my family and I were skeptical about doing this but we went on ahead and did the three day activity card. By not knowing what to expect we tried to map out what we wanted and sort of missed out on a lot because the things we wanted to do were too far out and some activities required reservations so we stuck to the activities around the corner from our Timeshare. This year we decided to do the three day activity again and was better planned. My suggestion is if anyone wants to travel to another part of Florida, make sure if transportation is available. If not make sure you're well rested and is looking forward to a long drive because two of the activities we chose required a lot of driving. If there's a tour bus that can take you to where you want to go, by all means pay the money because going to an activity is great, but once you're done with a lot of walking and such, driving back is not only a nightmare but it could be dangerous as well. Next time we go to Orlando we will try the card again but will be taking along some extra cash for available transportation.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

We split our days up to maximize the savings that way and it worked out great! Wish we would've had more days and more time but we were in Orlando area for 4 days so the 3-day pass was perfect! The first day was I-drive day but it was a lot of walking so we did need the next day to recover -- then we did a Kissimmee day including the FunSpot USA and Boggy Creek, and the last day it rained so it was perfect for the museums! Loved it and will check for every city we visit from now on!! We saved about $75 per person (total of $450 for the group).

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

The card could be useful if proper information was given and we were informed earlier about the changes. We got a shock when we went to Kennedy Space Station and the card was declined. We spend $130 more after having the Go Orlando card.

Smart Destinations Response: Given this experience, the customer was kind to give us even 2 stars. We did change the product to make Kennedy and either/or bonus with 3 other attractions and this customer got caught in the middle of that change. We are contacting the custom to make up for what happened and to apologize directly for their experience.

GO Card Vacations provide a Great Value
By David from Grand Blanc, MI on 7/28/2010
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

GO Card vacations provide a great value and allow you to visit attractions you may have missed if it hadn't been included as part of the card. We purchased the 7 day Orlando card a couple of years ago and had a great time. If you do a good job planning out where you want to visit you can really save a lot of money. I wanted to see how much money we saved by using the cards so I added up all of the admission costs for all of the places we visited and it was over $1000 dollars. Keep in mind we only spent a little over $400 dollars for 2 adult GO cards. We did almost every attraction and some we went to more then once. Great value. I have recommended it to several people and we have also used a Chicago GO card. It is great deal but I would encourage everyone to purchase as many days as possible in order to really get the value out of the card. I hope they continue add more cities to their list and I am looking forward to more GO card vacations.

Best deal when going to Orlando!

Chance to travel, Great places to go to, Choices of show, Save tons of money
Cons:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

I used the pass for the full 7 days that I paid for and loved it. I will do it again when I go back to Orlando. I love how much you save using the pass. While you pay like [$] for 2 passes, when comparing the individual prices of each entrance fee you more than made up for the [$]. Got a chance to go around Florida and see really great things. I really like the variety of shows, zoos, and parks you can go to. The only bad things is that I order thru [...] but didn't get the actual passes until I got to Orlando. Had to wait for the store to open at 9am to pick up the pass and by then it's a little late in the day.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

This is the best thing we did. the sponsors of the card were perfect! The kids loved all the places we went and the next day we picked our favorites and did it again. We got the 3 day and wish we would have gotten the 7 day card. Do your family a favor and do the unusual instead of Disney or Universal or if you have time in addition to!

Worth the $ but website was dated
By DD Verified Reviewer from Orlando, FL on 6/17/2010
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Orlando Card:

The card was well worth the money! One problem was that the website was outdated. Prior to leaving on vacation, we clicked on and printed the guidebook/maps and it stated "Stop the presses - Wet & Wild now included on ALL Go Orlando cards...." The problem is that the offer was valid until August 31,2009 (too bad it is 2010). We wasted nearly two hours driving to the park, trying to get in to the park and calling the Go Orlando service line before we saw the 2009 date. [...]

Smart Destinations Response: We are making the fix! Thanks!

12. Are there places to buy cards in Orlando?
13. How long will it take to get my order?
14. I still have questions!

1. How do I activate my card?

Cards are activated upon first use and are good for the number of calendar days of activity you have purchased.

2. How long is my card good for?

Your Go Orlando Card is good for up to 2 weeks from first use, or until you’ve used all the days of activity you’ve purchased.

3. How many days should I buy?

We suggest counting the total number of attractions you would like to see and dividing it by how many attractions you can realistically visit each day to come up with an estimate. For example, if you want to see 6 attractions and you can reasonably get to 2 each day, then buy a 3-day pass. 6 attractions / 2 attractions per day = 3 days.

Based on customer feedback, people tend to visit fewer attractions each day than they expect. Remember to account for meals, travel and rest time, especially if traveling with kids. Remember 3, 5 & 7-day cards include bonus attractions.

4. What is the age cut off for child tickets?

Child tickets are for those 3-12 years of age. Most attractions are free for children under 3.

5. Do cards expire?

Yes, unused cards purchased this year expire on December 31 of next year. We will refund the fully cost of any unused, unexpired passes for one year from the date of purchase.

6. How do the bonus attractions work?

A single bonus admission is included only on 3,5 & 7 day cards. You are entitled to one free admission to one of the eligible bonus attractions. You do not need to choose which bonus admission you want at the time of purchase.

7. Is there a time cut off on my card?

No. The Go Orlando Card is valid for admission from the time an attraction opens in the morning through closing.

8. Are cards ‘days’ good for 24 hours or days of the week?

Days of the week. For example, if you activated your card on a Tuesday, whether you did it at 9 AM or 5 pm, Tuesday’s usage counts as one day and does not extend into Wednesday.

9. Do I need to make reservations with the attractions?

Some attractions do require reservations. Please be sure to check the attraction details in the guidebook or on our website to determine if you need to make a reservation with an attraction. Please be aware that some attractions may require a credit card number to hold a reservation.

10. Should I have my card shipped or pick it up in Orlando?

We recommend having your card shipped if your travel date is more than 2 weeks away. Having your card shipped saves the time associated with travel to a redemption location, which may not be near a desired attraction. Card ‘days’ are based on calendar days, not a 24 hour period, so shipping allows you to fit more sightseeing into your day.

11. How do I buy online and pick up in Orlando?

If you choose to pick up your card at your destination, you will be presented with a printable voucher at checkout. You will need to bring the voucher to one of our redemption locations and exchange it for your card; you can’t use the printed voucher for admission.

11. Are there places to buy cards in Orlando?

Yes. We have several Go Orlando Card sales locations. Please be aware that any sale pricing seen on the website is not available at a sales location.

12. How long will it take to get my order?

Orders placed before 3PM on regular business days will ship the same day. Orders placed after 3 PM on regular business days will ship the next business day.

Time in transit will vary based on the shipping method you choose.

13. I still have questions!
