During the Everglades and Miami Adventure, tour guests will depart early in the morning and have the chance to wake up while munching on goodies from a breakfast bag.
After arriving at the Everglades, you’ll take a 30-minute airboat ride through the distinctive ecosystem in order to check out all the exotic creatures and natural wildlife that inhabit the region. Although the flora and fauna that thrive in the Everglades will be on display, the unquestioned star of the show will be the area’s most infamous inhabitant - the American Alligator.
When the airboat run is over, the fun will continue with an up-close-and-personal animal handling show. Following the show, it’s time for the second leg of the trip…
In Miami, you’ll roam the Bayside Marketplace Mall, a festive outdoor shopping area that wraps along the banks of the Biscayne Bay. Since it was opened in 1987, Bayside has become a top destination in Miami and it averages 15 million annual visitors. After some free time at the mall, it will be time to board the Island Queen.
Once aboard, guests will go on a tour of Miami via the water and check out gorgeous views of the city as well as the homes of local celebrities and the rich and famous on “Millionaire’s Row.” You’ll also take in scenic sites like the Port of Miami, Fisher Island and Miami Beach while enjoying beverages and light snacks at your discretion.
After the sight-seeing is done, the day will end in South Beach. Soak in the neighborhood while strolling around or relax on the beach prior to grabbing dinner at one of the area’s delicious or trendy restaurants. While you are there, don’t forget to sneak a peak at the heart of Miami, South Beach’s Art Deco area.
