Nice tour; not so nice people!
By Dave and Sherri from Ogden, Utah on 10/25/2010
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Florida Eco-Safaris:

My husband and I visited Forever Florida and we were greeted by a not-so-nice clerk working in the Gift Shop where you check in for the buggy ride. Her name was "Jenn" and she needs some lessons on customer service! I wanted to leave, but my husband convinced me that since we drove so far, we should at least go on the buggy. Well, I'm glad we did. The tour guide "Nancy" was fantastic! She was energetic, very knowledgeable and eager to share her knowledge. It is because of "Nancy" that we will recommend the place, but they need to get friendlier clerks at the check-in counter.

Bottom Line:

Comments about Smart Destinations Florida Eco-Safaris:

front office staff/booking staff were rude, especially karen and jen, i have a special needs family member and they sent us back to the zipline knowing he wouldnt be able to do the zipline, so we went back to the rigging area the guides were nice but told us they didnt feel it was safe for him to go out and they needed to check so they called their boss steve who was also very rude and he told us we couldnt go, then when we got to the front jen told us there was no refunds. i also overheard some of the guides referring to their lack of certification to be putting people on the course, while there was some sort of inspectors there. the place seemed disorganized and unsafe as well as to expensive

Smart Destinations Response: We spoke directly about this situation with the owners at EcoSafaris. They were extremely apologetic (although they also pointed out there was a bit more to the story). But either way we and they regret that your experience was not what it should have been.

Comments about Smart Destinations Florida Eco-Safaris:

We needed a reservation which we made one day in advance. We saw plenty of wildlife. The guide was great. The only thing I didn't care for was the 30 minute video prior to the safari. It was definitely worth the drive. We were having trouble with our Go Card this day and the staff called customer service to resolve the issue. This was great!
