Comments about Smart Destinations Miami Seaquarium:

My sister and I got to the park early on a Monday in order to avoid some of the FL sun and any long lines that we may run into. We started off our day by looking at some exhibits. We were excited to go to all of the shows that the Seaquarium has to offer. The whale and dolphin show was our favorite! The animals interacted amazingly with their trainers and we got splashed by Lolita the whale! The Sea Lions show was cute and funny. Make sure to catch them all, its well worth it! The Manatee program that the Seaquarium offers is amazing! They rescue Manatees that have been run over by boats or have been hurt and they give them a home to recuperate at, they then release them back. It was great learning about this! The bathrooms were easy to find and the food was good. My sister and I decided to buy the Florida pass (year long pass)! I was so excited when I found out that they offered this pass. I will surely come to the Seaquarium monthly, I can't wait for my next visit!

One Orca no others, Rusty and OLD, Orca pool too small,
Best Uses:
Close it,
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Miami Seaquarium:

The Orca did not have any other Orcas to talk to, it is in a tiny pool and had dolphins in with it. There wasn't another tank where it could go to swim or dive. Very sad place

Disappointing and Too Expensive~
By Superfly89 from Miami Beach, FL on 2/14/2010
Pros:
None
Cons:
Nothing like SeaWorld Needs so much repair work Expensive Rusty and OLD Small Animal Tanks Very few exhibits
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Miami Seaquarium:

We visited Seaquarium this weekend and it was far too expensive for what it really was. It is nothing like Sea World or any other aquarium I've been to. It's very run-down and needs a lot of repair work... There were only 8-9 exhibits, three of which were dolphin tanks! It was not very interesting and the shows very very short, despite the long lines to get into each one. The food was pretty crummy and the parking was $8 (not to mention, each person must pay [$] for admission!) Other complaints we had were that the bathrooms were dirty and there were no shady places to relax. Additionally, the animal cages and pools were super small.
