Description

A historic five-story masterpiece offers Orlando residents and visitors alike fascinating insight into how this region has made its transition from a small town surrounded by citrus groves and cattle ranches to today's thriving urban community. The Orange County Regional History Center is home to the varied and extensive collections of the Historical Society of Central Florida, Inc.

Located in the heart of downtown Orlando in the beautifully restored 1927 Orange County Courthouse, the History Center is continuously distinguished as the area's best museum. With an exciting roster of ever-changing exhibits, the History Center is one of Central Florida's premier cultural attractions. From guided tours and hands-on history events to fun-packed, interactive children's programs, learning is fun for all ages.

Note: Parking is free at the Orlando Public Library parking garage with museum validation at the General Admissions ticket counter.

Adult $9.00, Child $6.00

Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm;
Sunday, noon-5:00 pm.

Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.

Driving:

From 1-4 Eastbound: Exit Amelia Street (Exit 83B) and turn right. Make a right on Orange Ave. and then turn left on Central Blvd. If you are dropping off, you can turn left on Court Ave.; for parking, proceed to the parking garage across from the Orange County Library. The History Center is located on the corner of Magnolia Ave. and Central Blvd.

Redemption Instructions:

Included general admission with the Go Orlando Card. The Go Orlando Card is not valid during special exhibits. Adults have the option of upgrading for admission for $3 during special exhibits. No upgrade required for Children.
