This was my 3rd trip to Silver Springs Park. I couldn't believe the conditions of the park. My parents who live in Florida and I had raved to my sister, who had never been there, how beautiful the park was! How disapointing!!! First they charge you [$] to park and [$] admission. The Lost River was closed down as was the Jeep jungle ride. I understand things happen, but to pay full price, why not deduct some from the admission. Also there were hardly any animals and the park was not kept up. They were obviously short of help, because the employees were handling other attractions besides their own. I know it is winter, but I have been there in Feb and June and enjoyed both visits. I think there should be a winter rate, because it was not worth the money we paid! Even so I definitely would NOT recommend anyone to go to Silver Springs Park.
