An original dinner show with a historic twist, the Titanic Dinner Event takes you back in time to 1912. This theatrical, interactive dining experience is a favorite in the Orlando area, and gives visitors the chance to take part in a reenactment of one of the most famous (and perhaps tragic) dinner parties in history. Join Captain Smith in his retirement party, with a cast of actors in period costumes entertaining guests in the ultimate style and luxury that made the Titanic the most high-class ship of its time. Watch the cast recreate history before your very eyes as you dine on high-end cuisine, and partake in the theatrics of this unique evening experience.
The Cast of the Titanic Dinner Event is comprised of native Floridians as well as people with acting backgrounds from across the nation, as well as a few Disney professionals! The majority hold professional training in acting, including artists who have worked with such institutions as Bard College, and with experience from such organizations as the “Broadway Theatre Project” and “The Great American Trailer Park Musical”. You will even find yourself in the company of some classically-trained Shakespearean actors! At the very least, you will enjoy watching these dedicated men and women flex their theatrical muscle and will be, if only temporarily (probably for the best!) transported back in time to the glory days of the Titanic. You will participate as a guest at the table of the captain, who will be retiring from White Star Line. The setting features 20 different authentically-designed rooms, and is wheelchair-accessible.
Your Titanic Dinner Event’s three-course menu includes such selections as “Fillet of Beef with Mushroom Demi”, “Chicken Breast with Lyonnaise”, “Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes”, and “Sheet Cake with Raspberry Filling”. Assorted beverages, including coffee, are available throughout the evening. For $15 (payable directly at the Titanic Dinner Event) Titanic Dinner Event guests can enjoy unlimited beer and wine.
It is recommended that you make reservations as early as possible, as the Titanic Dinner Event show sells out quickly, sometimes a week before the show itself. Titanic Dinner Event lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, and there is no dress code, although extremely casual clothes (t-shirts, shorts, baseball caps, torn clothes) are not recommended.
