Rent a Bike!
By Mana Verified Reviewer from Alberta, Canada on
Pros:
Huge Selection Of Animals, Bike Rentals Available, Great Value
Cons:
Monorail Doesn't See Much,
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Zoo Miami:

Don't bother with the monorail - it doesn't show you anything that you can't see on ground, and gives you no other information. Do rent a bike. We rented a two person tandum bike. They all come with canopies to keep the sun off your head, and you can pull over off to the side pretty much anywhere and lock the steering wheel to get a good look at something. This park is huge, and without the bike we would have been utterly exhausted. So much to see! The first time we lapped around the lions they were no where to be seen, but when we had gone throug hthe park and looped back (which we probably would not have done on foot), there was a glorious male hanging out under the tree and sat down in the shade to lounge. AMAZING!

San Diego Go Card

Pros:
Cost Effective, Time saving, Easy to use
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Zoo Miami:

We used the go card throughout San Diego. I'm organized and like to have a tentative plan. One must have a "plan" in order to effectively get your money's worth out of the go card. We had a 5 day go card while in San Diego. We never felt rushed with our plan.

Beautiful Zoo
By Tanja Verified Reviewer from Sweden on
Pros:
Feeding Giraffes, clean, Free parking
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Zoo Miami:

This was a really beautiful Zoo. All the animals had big and beautiful places to stay in. Easy to get around by walking, bicycling or the Miami Metro Zoo train, altough you didn't see the animals very well from the train. Don't forget to feed the giraffes! They stick out their big blue tough and eats from your hands. Well worth the money.

A beautiful zoo!!
By Luv 2 Travl Verified Reviewer from Williamsport, Pennsylvania on
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Zoo Miami:

We took the train ride around the zoo. Easy on and off throughout. If we did it again, we would rent the family bike to drive around. There is an easy path to follow, so that you see everything. My daughter's favorite exhibits were the warthogs and elephants. My son's was the rhinos.
