Go Hawaii Card Launches, Delivers Personalized Hawaiian Experience With Ease, Value and Convenience

Pre-Paid Admission to More Than 25 Top Attractions Plus Added Savings on Shopping and Dining

November 1, 2005 (Honolulu, HI) – Smart Destinations Inc., the premier provider of technology-based destination travel solutions, today announced the launch of the Go Hawaii Card – the first all-inclusive attraction pass for the Hawaiian Islands. With fully pre-paid, unlimited admission to more than 25 top attractions, plus added savings at restaurants and shops, the Go Hawaii Card allows customers to personalize their Hawaiian experience and save time and money. The Go Hawaii Card starts at $59 for a one day adult card and $39 for a one day children’s card, a cost easily recouped with just two or three attraction visits. Greater savings are recognized when purchasing 2, 3, 5 and 7-day cards. Visitors have two weeks to use their cards and 3, 5 and 7-day Cards include either a free surfing lesson or one day’s car rental from Dollar Rent-A-Car (excluding tax, gas and additional fees).

“Hawaiians have one word that means to travel for fun: holoholo. It’s at the heart of the Go Hawaii Card, thanks to our local management team of Hawaii natives who maintain partnerships with a great cross-section of top attractions,” said Cecilia Dahl, president and co-founder of Smart Destinations. “We’re pleased to pioneer a travel pass for the Hawaiian Islands and expand on the success of our Go Cards outside the continental U.S.”

Experience traditional Hawaiian culture by visiting ‘Iolani Palace, named one of the world’s best palaces, Queen Emma Summer Palace, or Valley of the Temples. Trace history at the Bishop Museum, the Hawaii Maritime Museum, Hawaii’s Plantation Village, or the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai’i. Take an included audio tour at the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, stop in at the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum or relax in an air-conditioned motor coach for a Guided Grand Circle Island Tour. With an included one-day Waikiki Trolley pass, Go Hawaii Card holders can pick their routes and attractions.

Outdoor enthusiasts love the beauty of the Islands, and Go Hawaii Card holders can enjoy the Waimea Valley Audubon Center; a Hanauma Bay Snorkel Adventure; Makani Catamaran Cruises; or a Diamond Head Crater Hike. Relax on Waikiki beach with your choice of a choice of boogie board, fins, umbrella or chaise lounge for three hours, or an hour and a half with a surfboard from Hawaiian Ocean’s Waikiki. Visit Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks in quaint Kailua town for a half-day bike rental or snorkel gear that you can use on two top-ranked beaches as named by Condé Nast, Lanikai and Kailua.

Art lovers can relax at The Contemporary Museum and the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Adults and children alike will love visiting Sea Life Park, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, the Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center and taking home a caricature from Royal Hawaiian Caricatures.

Go Hawaii Card holders also receive a free, full-color guidebook with descriptions of participating attractions, plus free attractions to which Smart Destinations has made donations on behalf of their customers (the U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii, the Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, and the North Shore Cultural and Surf Museum), and details on stores, restaurants and organizations that offer gifts or discounts by showing the Card. These include 25% savings on advance reservations to Germaine’s Luau; 20% savings on Masterworks and Pop concert tickets at the Honolulu Symphony; a free VIP shopping booklet at the Waikele Premium Outlets; and discounts on spa services.

Customers can purchase the Go Hawaii Card online at www.GoOahuCard.com, or through any of Smart Destinations’ global distribution partners. The card is an included component in a number of hotel packages and weekend getaways and is marketed as a valuable add-on for meeting and convention delegates.
