New York Explorer Pass is Your Ticket to the Holidays in NYC
November 28 , 2007 (New York, NY) – Travelers headed to New York City this holiday season have a new option for visiting New York City’s top tourist attractions. Created by Smart Destinations, the leading providers of technology-based travel products, the New York City Explorer Pass includes some of the city’s premiere attractions, including Top of the Rock™ Observation Deck, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Immigration Museum, the CitySights NY “Lights of the Holiday Tour,” and more. For those travelers who want to do their holiday shopping while they visit New York City, it also entitles cardholders to a Visitor Savings Pass at Macy’s Herald Square and savings at several other restaurants and retailers.
“The New York City Explorer Pass makes visiting New York City a breeze,” said Smart Destinations president Cecilia Dahl. “The Pass is valid for thirty days after it’s activated, so visitors and locals have plenty of time to enjoy the attractions and take advantage of special savings. It also makes a great holiday gift, because your friends and family can choose the attractions that most interest them. Unlike a holiday sweater, the Explorer Pass is one size fits all!”
Cardholders have their choice of over a dozen exciting attractions and can mix and match with the Choose 3 or Choose 5 options. The New York City Explorer Pass also allows users to skip the ticket line at several attractions, so they can spend more time exploring the city and less time waiting in line. The pass’ smart card technology makes it easy for tourists to visit a variety of attractions without spending a lot of money. Visitors can purchase the New York City Explorer Pass online at www.explorerpass.com/newyorkcity.
