In particular Miniland USA recreates seven different areas of the United States using more than 20 million Lego pieces. But beyond that LEGOLAND features rides and play areas that will delight your kids, whether they are visiting their first amusement park or are veteran thrill seekers. And Mom and Dad may find wielding a laser in the Lost Kingdom or using a water cannon to douse other riders in the Pirate Shores Splash Battle one of the more memorable things to do on a trip to the Sad Diego area.
The paths and parks of LEGOLAND are lined with Lego creatures great and small. Take your child on a stroll through the garden of the Enchanted Walk and view some of the regions most beloved wildlife. Kids can also get their driver’s license at the Volvo Driving and Junior Driving School for the low price of $5 – don’t worry, they won’t get onto the highway just yet, only the driving school roads. Of course, visitors also get a chance to play Legos at the Imaginations Zone. Build and Test allows kids to build a car out of Legos and test it for speed by competing. Legoland is an awesome theme park. The new water park is awesome. With the Go San Diego Card, you get a $9 upgrade fee (the only discount available) to visit the water park in addition to free entry at Legoland. Go San Diego Card allows you to visit Legoland more than once (any day your card is valid).

Parking lot security is needed! We went on August 12,2010 and someone broke in to our car stole a lot of new cd's and there was another veicle that they had been robbed too,everything was missing. If you go to Legoland remember to take valuable things out of the car.

This was our first visit to LegoLand. I probably should have done a little more research to know that it is better suited for elementary age children and younger. It is built with that age in mind and is a safe, fun environment for them. My teenage sons were not as interested, but we enjoyed Miniland USA. We had a great lunch at the Sports Cafe - not your average park food. And best of all . . . they have gluten-free options at several dining places.

Interesting, but for kids. Ok if you use the go card, otherwise, [$] per day for adult admission is too much for a park that don't have adult attractions.
