Explore a village made of DUPLO blocks, rush through a 312-foot water pipe and play knight in a LEGO® kingdom. And that's just for starters. This top attraction is full of rides and scenes built from miniature plastic blocks — a definite must-see.
LEGOLAND® California is one of San Diego’s premier attractions. As you might expect from a Southern California amusement park, this place is larger than life—well, except that everything is miniature and made from plastic blocks! LEGOLAND® is packed with enough rides, shows and attractions to keep everyone in the family busy for a full day. Located in Carlsbad, just 30 miles north of downtown San Diego, this resort is a great place to get away from it all, engage your imagination and let the little ones live out their wildest dreams. LEGOLAND® California features entire rides built from these world-famous plastic blocks, play areas, water rides and building zones, with acres of fun for you and the whole family.
Visit any LEGOLAND ticketing booth with your Go City Card for admission.
Admission to the Water Park and SEA LIFE™ Aquarium are now available for only a $12 upgrade fee for each, payable directly to LEGOLAND® California when you arrive. This exclusive upgrade rate is only available with your Go City Card. Please note that toddlers ages 0-2 must pay $3 to visit the water park.

We had a blast here (with 4 and 6 year olds). Plenty to do, but not too much.

Comments about Smart Destinations LEGOLAND California:
I have four children ranging in age 1-12. All of the kids had a great time with the hands on activities through out the park.

On the Go Card, you can't beat getting entry to LEGOLAND with the ability to come back more than 1 day. I recommend 2 days at the park. Upgrade your ticket to the Water Park on a warm day - you won't be sorry, it's a great deal for only [$] per person w/ the Go Card (a $5 savings) and it's brand new, so everything is very clean and really nice. We took our 15 month old baby in the lazy river and he was in his own intertube - there are plenty of lifeguards so it's very safe! The Aquarium is also an upgrade but it's worth every penny especially for small kids. I can't say enough good things about the park and the two new ones (water park and sea life aquarium). What a steal with the Go Card!

Fun rides and great movie theater. On weekends, best to arrive early, to avoid the long lines.

My inner 5-year old was very jealous due to the, comparatively, paltry amounts of lego I had at my disposal.

Legoland is an awesome theme park. The new water park is awesome. With the Go San Diego Card, you get a $9 upgrade fee (the only discount available) to visit the water park in addition to free entry at Legoland. Go San Diego Card allows you to visit Legoland more than once (any day your card is valid).

Parking lot security is needed! We went on August 12,2010 and someone broke in to our car stole a lot of new cd's and there was another veicle that they had been robbed too, everything was missing. If you go to Legoland remember to take valuable things out of the car.

Comments about Smart Destinations LEGOLAND California:
This was our first visit to LegoLand. I probably should have done a little more research to know that it is better suited for elementary age children and younger. It is built with that age in mind and is a safe, fun environment for them. My teenage sons were not as interested, but we enjoyed Miniland USA. We had a great lunch at the Sports Cafe - not your average park food. And best of all . . . they have gluten-free options at several dining places.

Interesting, but for kids. Ok if you use the go card, otherwise, [$] per day for adult admission is too much for a park that don't have adult attractions.
