Description

The Museum of History and Art is located in Coronado's historic Bank of Commerce and Trust Building, designed in 1910. Two permanent galleries highlight Coronado's settlers, the role of the U.S. Navy in the development of the town, the landmark Hotel del Coronado, and the Tent City summer resort. The third gallery hosts a quarterly rotation of traveling and special exhibits connected to Coronado's history, art and architecture. The Coronado Historical Association encourages and promotes the appreciation, knowledge and understanding of Coronado's unique art, architecture and history.

Adult $15.00, Child $15.00

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm;
Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

Closed

New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.

Driving:

From I-5 N or S, take the Coronado Bridge (Rte 75) to Orange Avenue. Turn left on Orange Avenue.

Museum admission by donation. Admission included when combined with the Hotel del Coronado Walking Tour (page 47).

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
