Description

Science, space and aviation history all unfold at the San Diego Air & Space Museum-California’s Official Air and Space Museum. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the Museum houses a collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft from all over the world, including a working flying replica of Lindbergh’s Spirit of St. Louis, the actual Apollo 9 Command Module spacecraft and the only real GPS satellite on display in the world. The Museum also offers interactive exhibits including

MaxFlight® and Space Shuttle simulators plus dynamic, hands-on and ever-changing traveling exhibitions.

Cost without the card:

Adult $15.00, Child $6.00

Hours:

Daily, 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Hours subject to change. (Free admission for San Diego County residents and active duty military and their families on the 4th Tuesday of each month)

Driving:

From Interstate 5 S: Take the 10th Street exit; turn left on A Street.; turn left on 12th Street (which becomes Park Blvd.); turn left at President's Way (you are now in Balboa Park); when you come to the stop sign, the Museum will be to your left with parking right in front. From Interstate 5 N: Take the B Street Pershing exit; stay on B Street; turn right on 12th (which becomes Park Blvd.); turn left at President's Way (you are now in Balboa Park); when you come to the stop sign, the Museum will be to your left with parking right in front.

Redemption Instructions:

Regular general admission is included with Go San Diego Card. Any special exhibits might require an upgrade fee. Go San Diego Cardholders will have a special rate for the upgrade if applicable. Regular general admission is included with Go San Diego Card until 5:30 pm daily.

The Go City Card is accepted until 5:30pm unless otherwise noted; during all other times standard admission will apply.
