The San Diego Art Institute, in its ongoing commitment to regional visual arts and artists, presents the Museum of the Living Artist. Housed in SDAI's 10,000 square foot gallery at the House of Charm in Balboa Park, the Museum is a showcase for newly created art by regional artists. A new exhibition opens every four to six weeks, offering a comprehensive perspective on the art being created in the San Diego region. The museum offers ArtBox 2, a program designed as a self-guided exploration of the exhibits to discover the many elements found in art and to stimulate communication between adults and children.
