Description

The New Children's Museum provides a dynamic, playful public space and community center for children and families. The Museum experience features innovative, provocative artworks that kids can touch, climb, or move; hands-on art making opportunities; and a variety of arts-based classes and workshops. Rounded out with an organic cafe, unique retail shop, abundant seating, and an outdoor park, the Museum provides a comfortable and engaging environment for the entire family to enjoy together. The New Children's Museum celebrated the opening of its new home, an environmentally sustainable building designed by architect Rob Wellington Quigley, in May of 2008.

Note:

The New Children's Museum offers limited parking in our garage, which can be accessed from Union Street. The cost is $10. Metered parking is available throughout the surrounding neighborhood.
