30 minute navigational tour; 2 Go Cardholders required per reservation. GoCar is the first-ever GPS guided tour car that launched in San Francisco in April 2004. Today, it’s the most exhilarating, entertaining and enlightening way to tour San Diego. GoCar is the world’s first computer guided storytelling car. The clever talking car navigates for you, but that’s not all. As you drive, it points out the sights and tells you the stories that bring San Diego to life. You go at your own pace, not the pace set by a tour bus operator. As you go, you’re choosing the attractions you want to stop and see. You can make it a leisurely day trip if you’d rather, stopping to explore attractions or museums along the way. It’s totally your choice. If you’re having the time of your life, keep exploring! $300 credit card refundable deposit is needed upon rental. Call for reservations.

This was a blast. Last minute and friend and I decided to take a Go Car out for a spin. At first I was pretty weary of driving but after the video and a few minutes riding passenger, I was ready to go. The car was extremely easy to handle and a LOT of fun to drive. I loved the narration provided by the GPS. This is not my first time in San Diego, but I learned a lot of interesting facts and enjoyed the humor. It was also nice to know we were not going to get lost! Bottom line, I think this is a great concept. I have two boys ages 11 & 13 and I am looking forward to bringing them next time. This really is a great family activity! My only regret is not taking the car for longer. Instead of cabbing around San Diego to go to the Midway etc. next time I will extend for an entire day. This way I can stop along the way to see the sights and take it slow.

I love this tour with the Go San Diego Card! I took the 30 minute tour and it was a blast. You can also upgrade to a one hour so you have time for some stops for a really low rate (they will give you the offer). I thought the tour was so much fun and it was a very adventurous experience in general. The cars reminded me of big wheels for adults - very easy to drive but lots of fun. Plus, what better way to see the sights than in a convertible on a warm sunny day? I loved the GPS system - it will give you a very personalized look at the area and explain fun tidbits of history and facts about San Diego. Definitely a "must see."

We went do our 30 minutes on sunday at the opening. Go day because less traffic. We really like this. They will offert you the 2 hours tour but if you want to take the free 30 mins only feel free and the will say which route to take.no

It's very great experience to drive this gocar around in downtown. You can drive at your own pace and choose where you want to go. It's awesome!
