Harbor Tours operate year-round; however, please note that Whale Watching Season is late December to April only.
Your choice of a Harbor Tour OR Whale Watch daily with Go San Diego Card.
In this adventurous, three-and-a-half hour excursion, you’ll seek out majestic gray whales that migrate from Alaska to the lagoons of Baja California between late December and April. A whale sighting is guaranteed — or else you ride again for free! While the whale sightings are the real prize, you might also spot dolphins, seals, and sea lions as well.
During your cruise, you’ll listen to whale and dolphin sounds play in real time using state-of-the art research equipment from the world renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Throughout, you’ll also be kept informed by a knowledgeable naturalist from the Birch Aquarium who narrates the tour. The vessels of Flagship Cruises offer both indoor and outdoor seating for your comfort. For more details about this unique opportunity to see marine life off the Pacific Coast, visit the Flagship Cruises & Events.
