In 1990 Blackstone Winery was established with the purpose of making exceptional wines. Originally founded as a negociant label, the French term for wineries that buy grapes, Blackstone has become one of the most popular wines in the country.

Blackstone draws upon the diversity of microclimates throughout the state of California, carefully selecting only those grapes that will perfectly compliment our distinctive style of wines. Our winemaker consistently crafts wines that are delicious, 'consumer-friendly', and which emphasize quality and value.

While all ages are welcome, you must be 21 years of age to participate in a wine tasting.

Driving:

From the Napa Valley and points East: Take Highway 12 heading west to Sonoma/Santa Rosa. Drive through the town of Sonoma and continue west. Blackstone Winery is about 11 miles west of Sonoma in the town of Kenwood. From San Francisco and the South: Take Hwy 101 heading North. Exit Hwy 12 heading East towards the town of Sonoma. Continue on Highway 12 through Santa Rosa. Highway 12 exits onto Farmers Lane. Make a left turn on Farmers Lane, and then a right turn onto Sonoma Highway; these roads are still Highway 12. Continue on Sonoma Highway (Highway 12) till you leave the city limits. Blackstone Winery is 8.4 miles further located on the right hand side of the street across from Adobe Road in Kenwood.
