Enter the Bay Area’s most exciting theme park for a day of riding, splashing, and endless entertainment!

Located in Santa Clara, California, Great America offers electrifying activities for every member of the family. You’ll get a rush of adrenaline on the dozens of thrill rides, splash about and ride the waves at the Boomerang Bay water park, make a stop at Planet Snoopy, cruise on over to Kidzville, and enjoy countless entertainment and dining options!

Thrill Rides: With options ranging from high to aggressive thrills, you’ll be sure to get a jolt of adrenaline on any of the Great America thrill rides! Get hoisted 153 feet above the ground, and dive at speeds up to 6 miles per hour on the Xtreme Skyflyer, twist and turn over a 91-foot hill through 360-degree loops on the Vortex, experience the rush of gravity as you descent 22 stories in less than four seconds on the Drop Tower, and more!

Boomerang Bay: From level 1 to level 4 thrills, there are plenty of water rides to provide each family member with a splashing good time! Relax on the area’s longest lazy river, travel through a series of watery twists and turns on the Tasmanian Typhon, feel the power of ocean waves at the Great Barrier Reef, and slide down a 30-foot tall body water slide! There’s plenty of ways for kids and adults to cool off and enjoy the aquatic adventures.

Planet Snoopy: Planet Snoopy houses thrill rides dedicated to the Peanuts gang – including the Peanuts Pirates mini-pirate ship, Sally’s Love Buggies, the Woodstock Express family-friendly rollercoaster, and beyond. You’ll even get to meet and greet Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, and Sally!

Kidzville: For your little tykes, Kidzville offers rides for the youngest guests that are pint sized! Climb, play, and run through a giant ‘construction zone’ at KidZConstruction, embark on a swinging adventure and feel the wind in your hair, and ride one of the miniature rollercoasters.

Entertainment & Dining: With a variety of ongoing and changing live stage productions, as well as special events, there’s always something to see! With so much activity, you may work up an appetite. Luckily, Great America has no shortage of delicious dining options. From traditional amusement park fare, sports bars, cafes, and healthy options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

What could be better than a day in the California sun experiencing one of the most beloved amusement parks? Make the most of your visit to the Bay Area and adventure onto Great America!

Comments about Smart Destinations :

Skip the TICKET line included. NOT the "Fast Lane" where you can cut in for the rides! So read, word by word on what's included.
