Strange relics, rare treasures, weird finds, and over 2,000 square feet of seemingly impossible mirrored mazes are the name of the game at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! San Francisco Odditorium. See a shrunken head, view an original vampire killing kit, and learn the bizarre story of Robert Ripley—the man behind it all!

Ripley’s Believe it or Not! San Francisco Odditorium brings you the weirdest, wackiest, and oddest collection of randomness one could ever hope to see. Enhance your trip with a visit to Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze, and you have one perfect combo ticket that the whole family will love!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! San Francisco Odditorium took its roots in the Grotesque period—an era of artistic and literary works that focus on the distorted, weird, and supernatural elements of life that people find both fascinating and bizarre or disgusting. Capitalizing on this widespread fascination, cartoonist and entrepreneur Robert Ripley used his collections of strange paraphernalia to entertain and amuse, and this idea has remained a national hit since the opening of the first Ripley’s in Chicago in 1933.

Ripley’s San Francisco is home to “weird class family fun”, located at the world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf near Pier 39. This “museum” sits on two floors and occupies more than 10,000 square feet. What will you see? Odd animals, weird and wacky art, tribal artifacts collected from around the world, a real shrunken head, Buck Helm’s Car from the 1989 Earthquake, and an original vampire killing kit, among many other strange and fascinating objects.

After you’ve had your fill of weird, head to the Marvelous Mirror Maze and test your spatial ability as you try to find your way out! This maze boasts over 100 mirrors with LED lighting and digital sound. Every time you enter, you will have a different experience, and get lost in over 2,000 square feet of mirrored paths, corners, dead ends and continuous circles. Good luck!

Don't leave without checking out the Toy/Candy Factory. It has hundreds of your favorite sweets, from old time classics to the latest treats.
