Enjoy a narrated tour aboard a replica of a motorized San Francisco Cable Car. Drive through San Francisco's most scenic neighborhoods, including Fisherman's Wharf, Downtown, Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, North Beach, and the Ferry Building.

You can hop off to explore on your own in Chinatown, Ferry Building or Union Square, and then hop on again when the next trolley comes by. It's an exciting way to get acquainted with this exhilarating city.

Redemption Instructions

Redeem your Go San Francisco Card for a boarding ticket at the Gray Line Trolley car booth at Pier 41. You will need to present your boarding ticket to the trolley driver. No reservations; this tour is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Hop-On / Hop-Off privileges end at 2:00 pm, and the tour will revert to a one-hour tour around the city.One Trolley Tour or Skyview Tour per day with the Go San Francisco Card.

In the morning departures, you may hop on or hop off at any of the following locations: Pier 39, Pier 41, Union Square, The Ferry Building and North Beach -- just make sure you have picked up your ticket before hoping on for the first time! Please be at Pier 41 at least half hour before the tour time posted for the day.

The tour takes you on a ride to some of the most visited and picturesque attractions in San Francisco on motorized version of the city’s historic cable cars, one of the oldest modes of transportation still in use today!

We enjoyed this experience. We got to see an overview of SF without having to drive ourseleves. I did ask the staff a few questions to get the most out of the tour and they were very helpful. After the tour I was able to enjoy the city since I knew where everything is.

We asked for our options with the Go Card, they had two possibilities, each described on the booklet but with two different timings. Before I could tell them which options I liked, they scanned my card with the first option. When I told them that it would not work for us and I wanted the second offer they had, they told me that it was too late and that they could not scan the card a second time since it was the first option OR the second option. They did not feel sorry for me and I just was left with no options at all.
