Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Voted the World's Best Seaside Amusement park for the last three years, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is set along the beautiful Monterey Bay.

The Boardwalk features dozens of modern and classic oceanfront thrill rides including the 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster and the hair-raising 125-foot Double Shot tower, plus an 18 hole miniature golf course, award-winning game arcades, restaurants, shops and family bowling.

The admission-free amusement park offers many free events throughout the year including summer beach concerts and live entertainment.

Hours

The Boardwalk is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During fall and spring a limited number of rides are open for weekends and holidays. The Casino Arcade, the Boardwalk Bowl, and Neptune's Kingdom Miniature Golf are open year-round with the exception of December 25. Since hours change based on day and season, please call or check the website to verify.

Redemption Instructions

Included unlimited ride wristband* with the Go San Francisco Card. *When rides are not open, cardholder will receive a customized Go San Francisco Card attraction package instead of an Unlimited Ride Wristband. Present your Go San Francisco Card at Guest Services located at Entrance 2 for wristband. Height restrictions on some rides. Go San Francisco Card customers may upgrade to the Attraction Plus Package for only $8.00. The Go San Francisco Card is valid until 5:30 pm; during all other times, standard admission will apply. Some restrictions apply.

Note

Skip the ticket line - Go San Francisco Card holders pick up their wristbands at the Guest Service office rather than having to go to a ticket booths throughout the Park. Note: this privilege does NOT allow you to skip the lines at the Guest Services office or at the individual rides

Driving Directions

Take HWY 17S or scenic HWY 1 into Santa Cruz and follow the signs to Santa Cruz Beach. The Boardwalk is only 75 minutes from S. San Francisco, 45 minutes north of Monterey/Carmel area and 30 minutes from the San Jose area. All day parking is available.

This place is fun but the restaurant Barbary Coast is terrible!! The food is really bad and they charge soo much money... It would be worth your money to go somewhere else :)
