How it works

What are "consecutive calendar days"?

"Consecutive calendar days" are days in a row.

If you have a 3-Day card, and you visit your first attraction on a Monday, your card will be valid on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Start your day early to get the most out of your card!

How do I "activate" my card?

Simply visit your first attraction!

How many days should I buy?

Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. Our most popular card is the 5-Day card.

Is my card valid all day?

You can enter attractions until 5:30pm with the Go San Diego Card.

What is your refund policy?

We know sometimes travel plans change, even at the very last minute. That's why, if you don't end up activating and using your pass within a year of the purchase date, we'll give you a full refund. No questions asked.

Here's the best part: unlike our competitors, this built-in cancellation insurance comes with every card purchase — free of charge.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to initiate a refund anytime within 1 year of your purchase, please call our Customer Care Team at 800-887-9103. We'll tell you how you can return your non-activated card or pass.

Please note: Activated passes are non-refundable.

Which delivery method should I choose?

Instant delivery is the fastest and most popular option. You'll be able to access your Go San Diego Card from your email or on your phone immediately after you purchase. It also includes some added valued Skip the Line features at various attractions.

With instant delivery you will receive a printable and mobile version of our guidebook.

Having a physical card shipped in advance will save you time traveling to a pick up location when you get there. Note that transit times vary depending on shipping options. View delivery options. With shipped physical cards, you will get a full color printed guidebook but won’t get access to added value Skip the Line features that come with the digital delivery.

Do you ship Go San Diego Cards to hotels?

Sorry, we cannot ship to hotels because of delivery concerns.

I have a voucher, where can I pick up my card?

View a list of in-city pickup locations where you can redeem your voucher for cards.

Where can I buy the cards in San Diego?

View a list of purchase locations in San Diego. Note that in-city purchases are available for full price only.

Does a Go San Diego Card expire?

Yes. You have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire.

How much will I save?

Compare the price of the pass to the gate prices of the attractions you want to visit to see how much you can save. Many customers save more than 50%.

How many attractions can I visit in one day?

On a Go San Diego Card, you can visit as many attractions as you want in a day from 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Can I visit an attraction more than once?

In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the pass. Please reference your guidebook for specific information on each attraction.

What is the age cut off for child cards?

Child cards are for children ages 3-12. Most attractions do not charge for children under 3 years old. However, there are some exceptions (especially children's museums and attractions geared toward very young travelers). If you have a child under 3 years old, please check with the attraction directly in advance. You may be charged at the gate.

Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?

Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.

Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.

What happens if an attraction is closed or a tour is cancelled due to weather or other problem?

While we do our best to ensure that all attractions are available, events happen that are out of our control. The great thing about a Go San Diego Card is that there are so many attractions to choose from. If an attraction is closed, or cannot be visited for some reason, we know you'll find a fun alternative in your guidebook!

What do I do if my Go San Diego Card is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately, it cannot be replaced if it is lost or stolen. Please treat the card like cash.

Can I share my Go San Diego Card with a friend, or sell it?

A Go San Diego Card is non-transferrable. Once you start using it, you are the only person who can use it to get into attractions. You must sign the signature strip on the back of the card and you may be asked to present an ID. Go San Diego Cards cannot be re-sold.

If you are traveling with a group, each traveller may be asked for proof of ID.

What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. Go San Diego Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to San Diego as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

I still have questions!

Please feel free to call us at 866‑628‑9032 and we’ll be happy to help you!

Note: You should treat your Go San Diego Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:

We loved the Go card, it made it easy to choose what we wanted to see and how many things were in the area we were. We just showed the card and went on our way. in one case, we got to the attraction just before they closed the gate. They let us in because we had the card. it was a smaller attraction, but one we had hoped to see. We had an hour in which to enjoy the attraction. The hard thing was attractions starting later and ending sooner. (9am &10am and ending at 5:30pm)

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:

We were planning to go to the Zoo, Safari Park , Seaworld and USS Midway so we bought the Go San Diego card as it was only slightly more than the individual attractions and very easy to use when downloaded on a smart phone. In the end we also went whale watching, on a harbour cruise and to Belmont Park roller coaster, as well as the science museum on a rainy day - so we got more than enough value for our card. Only negative was that the maritime museum (very close to USS Midway) was not on the card.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:

We were in San Diego for 8 nights, 9 days. We purchased the 7 day Go Card. While we were in San Diego, We visited 19 places or more, which includes a couple must visit restaurants that were not included on the Go Card. We did visit, a large number of the Go Card sights, but couldn't have possibly seen them all. This was for two semi-active people on their honeymoon. If we had Kids, it would have been the same story. We think these cards saved us about $500 or more easily, and saw more than we would have otherwise been able to budget in. The one thing I regret not doing, is reading all the specifics about the card in advance. It would have given us a discount on our rental car, but we paid for it before seeing the opportunity. We know better for next time. This card is definitely worth the buy!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:

Really enjoyed this. I downloaded it to my smartphone and had the tickets in my pocket everywhere we went. My only dislike is, my interpretation, that it has to be used consecutive days. That leaves no rest days. However still a great value.

The lines to redeem the tickets are extremely long, especially on weekend. You should place a kiosk at the parks for users to redeem tickets, instead of getting in the long lines.
