There’s no catch. Go San Diego Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to San Diego as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.
Compare the price of the card to the retail prices of the attractions to see how much you can save. Many customers save more than 50%.
The first time you visit an attraction, it will “activate” the calendar day countdown on your card.
For example, a 3-day card activated on a Monday will be valid on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It doesn’t matter what time you activate the card on the first day, so we suggest you start your day early.
Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. We suggest you count the number of attractions and divide by the number of days to get an estimate. Our most popular card is the 3-day card.
A Go San Diego Card is non-transferrable. Once you start using it, you are the only person who can use it to get into attractions. You must sign the signature strip on the back of the card and you may be asked to present an ID. Go San Diego Cards cannot be re-sold.
If you are traveling with a group, you may be asked to present each member of your group at the ticket window, for proof of ID.
Some attractions like Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and LegoLand have this symbol on their page this means that once you visit the attraction, you have to wait three hours before your card is valid at another attraction that has that symbol. You can visit attractions that don’t have the symbol inside the three hour period if you choose to.
For example, if you visit the San Diego Zoo at 9am, you won’t be able to get into SeaWorld or LegoLand until noon.
Your card is valid for daytime admission to attractions. This means that attractions cannot be visited after 5:30pm with the Go San Diego Card — so plan your day accordingly.
In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the card. Please reference your guidebook page for specific information on each attraction.
Child cards are for ages 3-12. Most attractions are free for children under 3.
View a list of sales locations in San Diego. Note that if we are running a web-only sale, the in-city sales locations will not be able to honor that sale price. In-city purchases are available at full price only.
Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.
Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.
Please feel free to call us at 866-628-9032 and we’ll be happy to help you!
Note: You should treat your Go San Diego Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
My husband and I got the 5-day Go San Diego Card and we were able to do so many things with this card that we probably would not have done otherwise. We figured that we each saved over $230 by buying these passes. We had a blast and will use this pass again when we go back. The only cons I can think of is that there is so much to do and you want to get everything in and it's difficult to do so in five (or however many) consecutive days without exhausting yourself, so I wish you had a couple more days to use each pass (like seven days to use the five day pass so you could have two days to take a break) and that they would add some relaxing attractions, such as a movie pass or show, so that you still feel like you're getting your moneys worth while relaxing and laying low.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
This card is spectacular. I purchased the 7-day one, and visited as many places as I could that are in the booklet that comes with the card. I found new and exciting places to go that I would not have gone otherwise. The card certainly pays for itself, especially if you wish to visit SeaWorld more than once. Everywhere I went that took the card, I simply gave it to them like a I would a credit card, and they took it without hesitation. People were actually friendly when I handed them the card, almost proud to accept it. The next time I travel, I'll be looking for a Smart Destinations card for that city!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
This is the got to get card, it saved us hundreds of dollars when we took our grand daughters. We got the five day for the week and went to the beach to start and end the vacation. I don't think I would survive a 7 day card!!!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
I added up the cost and we saved about $80. If we had actually used the card for 7 days, we would have been able to go to more places and saved more. We had no problems at all with the card. I will definitely purchase a card again for another city.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
this is by far the best buy for your money if you are going to be spending a few days in san diego and visiting all the major attractions. we bought the 5 day pass and we were able to visit approximately 10-12 attractions. we would have spend well over $300 per person where the card saved us a lot of money.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
I ordered the Go Cards as part of a Christmas Gift for my kids. [...] We purchased the 5 day card and used it for 6 attractions/museums on our 7 day trip to San Diego. If we would have paid at the gate for everything we did we would have spent at least $178 more out of pocket so we saved some money. The card was easy to use at all of the attractions and we skipped the most massive line up at the USS Midway on Presidents Day! I would totally get a Go Card again!

Comments about Smart Destinations Go San Diego Card:
I had a three day go card and did not have enough time to see a third of what was available. I am returning to San Diego for a longer trip and will be getting the 7 day pass this time. This is the best deal around. I have used similar passes in other cities and this one is hands down the best I have ever had.
