Can I pick up my Maui Explorer Pass in Maui if I buy it online?

Yes! Simply choose "In City Pick-Up" as your Shipping Option when you checkout. You can find directions and a map for our pick-up locations at the In City Pickup Locations screen.

You may also buy a Maui Explorer Pass directly here on this Web site and have it shipped. Affordable standard shipping takes up to 10 days from our Boston, MA operations center, so make sure you order in advance for your trip. Express shipping is available for a small additional cost.

What does Seasonal mean on both the Whale Watch and the Alii Nui Afternoon Fun Sail?

Whales play in the water off Maui only during the months of Dec, Jan, Feb and part of March so the whale watch cruise would only operate during those months.

What is an Explorer Pass?

An Explorer Pass is a multi-attraction pass providing you with your choice of some of our most popular top attractions in our Explorer Pass destinations. You can decide what attractions to see on the fly to create your own exploration, tailoring your activities based on what you like to do. The best part? You have 30 days from your first use to complete your Explorer Pass experience, giving you the ability to fit attractions into your schedule and maximize your card value.

What's the catch? How can you offer all this at such an affordable price?

There is no catch! Because we bring a very large number of visitors to each of our attraction partners, we are able to get great pricing on each admission, allowing us to pass the savings on to you when using an Explorer Pass.

How does the Explorer Pass work?

All you have to do is present your Explorer Pass at a participating attraction and your entry is included (you pay nothing). The Explorer Pass is valid for admission to one Premier attraction and two Signature attractions for a total of three. You can visit each of your selected attractions once.

The pass is activated the first time you use it and you have 30 days to visit your remaining attraction choices. Each Explorer Pass is valid for admission by the cardholder only – you may not bring in multiple guests per pass. However, children under 3 are admitted free of charge. Attraction admissions follow the open operating hours of the attraction.

Does my pass expire?

Your first attraction visit must occur within one (1) year following the calendar year in which your card is purchased. Cards purchased this year will expire on December 31 the following year. Once you activate your Explorer Pass by visiting your first attraction or picking up your trolley pass, you have thirty (30) days to visit your remaining attractions.

How do I get a value out of a Explorer Pass?

We recognize when traveling that value, choice, and flexibility are important. You'll be able to maximize your value and fun by reviewing the included attractions list, from which you choose your favorite attractions, on the website or in your guide.
