Where can I buy Go San Francisco Cards?

You can find directions and a map for our local purchase locations at the In City Pickup and Purchase Locations screen.

You may also buy a Go San Francisco Card directly here on this Web site. Affordable standard shipping takes up to 10 days from our Boston, MA operations center, so make sure you order in advance for your trip. Express shipping is available for a small additional cost.

I bought the card(s) and have printed out my voucher. Where do I pick up my order?

Simply bring your printed voucher to a local redemption center. You can find directions and a map for our local voucher redemption locations at the In City Pickup and Purchase Locations screen.

How do I get to Wine Country?
There are two options for getting to wine country.
  1. Take the included Gray Line Wine Country Tour, which includes transportation and visits to wineries in Napa and Sonoma. Reservations are required, which guarantee’s your seat. OR
  2. Designate a driver and drive to Napa and Sonoma Valley. Then, use the Go San Francisco Card for entrance into wineries, tasting rooms, and museums.
How do I get my ticket to use on the Cable Car?
In order to ride the Cable Car, you must pick up your cable car ticket from our distribution points: Coffee Adventures (1331 Columbus Ave; cross street is North point, near Fisherman's Wharf) from 8-5:30 or GoCar Tours (321 Mason Street; this location only, near Union Sq.) from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Then you can use that ticket on any of the Cable Car lines. Your Go San Francisco Card is not a cable car ticket so you cannot show it on the cable car to ride. Included in the Go San Francisco Card is a one-way ticket once per day.
How far away is the Six Flags attraction from San Francisco?
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is in Vallejo, approximately thirty-five miles from San Francisco (only accessible by car).
What is offered in the Monterey and Carmel tour?
This tour is a full-day tour that departs from the Fisherman's Wharf area in San Francisco and included stops in Monterey and Carmel as well as the spectacular 17-mile drive. This tour is a special offer with the Go San Francisco Card. Cardholders receive a 40% savings from retail price (you pay: June-October: Adult $39, Child $24; November-May: Adult $33, Child $20). Advance reservations are required, which guarantees your seat.
Which tours REQUIRE advanced reservations?
Do I need to make reservations and if so, how?

With the Go San Francisco Card, some tours accept advanced reservations. Both the Included Attractions and Exclusive Deals and Savings sections of our website and our guidebook provide information as to which attractions require or recommend advanced reservations, as well as any conditions that might apply.

If you are planning to on taking advantage of some tremendous tour savings, you should check availability well in advance, to make sure you get a seat. Please also remember that your Go San Francisco Card must be valid the day you are taking the tour.

What is a Go City Card?

A Go City Card is a multi-attraction pass providing you the most choice at the best value. Included attraction admissions are free. You get to create your own experience, tailoring your activities based on what you like to do, while also enjoying tremendous savings with exclusive deals and savings.

It works somewhat similar to a day at an amusement park, except that with a Go City Card, much of a city is your own personal park! You pay one price and then get to try as many different activities as you like. No need to buy tickets to each attraction.

What's the catch? How can you offer all this at such an affordable price?
Because we bring a very large number of visitors to each of our attraction partners, we are able to get great pricing on each admission, allowing us to pass the savings on to you when using a Go City Card.
How does the Go City Card work?
All you have to do is present your Go Card at a participating attraction and you get in FREE. The Go City Card is valid for the number of consecutive calendar days purchased. The first attraction visited will activate the days purchased on your Go City Card. For instance, a 3-day card activated on a Monday would be valid for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only. Admission between 9:00am and 5:30pm to all listed attractions is included in the card (certain evening attractions have later hours (see your guidebook for details). You can visit any attraction once per day per the life of your card, unless otherwise noted. Every person (ages 3 and up) in your group must have a Go City Card to take advantage of the free admissions. The Go City Card is not transferable and must be carried by the user at all times.
Does my card expire?
Your first attraction visit must occur within one (1) year following the calendar year in which your card is purchased. For example: cards purchased this year will expire on December 31 the following year.
How do I know which attractions to visit?
Each order receives a Go City Card Guidebook. This full color guidebook is your resource for creating your own tailor-made experience and includes attraction descriptions, hours of operation, directions and much more. You can also request an interactive Flash version of the guidebook. You can also learn about the city by checking out our travel blog.
How do I get a value out of a Go City Card?
We recognize when traveling that value, choice, and flexibility are important. Combining the included attraction admissions with the available shopping and dining savings is sure to help you maximize your value. What is an Explorer Pass?
An Explorer Pass is a multi-attraction pass providing you with your choice of some of our most popular top attractions in our Explorer Pass destinations. You can decide what attractions to see on the fly to create your own exploration, tailoring your activities based on what you like to do. The best part? You have 30 days from your first use to complete your Explorer Pass experience, giving you the ability to fit attractions into your schedule and maximize your card value.
What's the catch? How can you offer all this at such an affordable price?
There is no catch! Because we bring a very large number of visitors to each of our attraction partners, we are able to get great pricing on each admission, allowing us to pass the savings on to you when using an Explorer Pass.
How does the Explorer Pass work?

All you have to do is present your Explorer Pass at a participating attraction and your entry is included (you pay nothing). The Explorer Pass is valid for admission to one Premier attraction and two Signature attractions for a total of three. You can visit each of your selected attractions once.

The pass is activated the first time you use it and you have 30 days to visit your remaining attraction choices. Each Explorer Pass is valid for admission by the cardholder only - you may not bring in multiple guests per pass. However, children under 3 are admitted free of charge. Attraction admissions follow the open operating hours of the attraction.

Does my pass expire?
