Description
High-adrenaline sports fans will enjoy the world's only museum dedicated to powerboat racing, a popular Pacific Northwest extreme pastime. On display is an incredible collection of vintage hydroplanes spanning seven decades, including boats that have won seventeen Gold Cups. The museum has an extensive collection of memorabilia-including films, trophies, books, and posters-illustrating the stories of famous drivers, races, triumphs, and tragedies. In addition to the hydroplane history archives, the museum is also a fully equipped boat restoration shop where seven of the most famous Gold Cup and Harmsworth winners have been restored to full running condition.
