Description
What's at SAM? Well, for starters, there are 2,600 objects in 35 international galleries. Looking for an around-the-world experience? Check out the Australian Aboriginal Gallery - SAM is the only museum in the US to have anything like it. Maybe you'd like to have your breath taken away (who wouldn't?) - the modern and Contemporary Galleries feature an amazing Korean coat made of 40,000 dog tags. Or maybe your tastes are a little more traditional? The 16th century Italian Room will take you back to the Renaissance. Do the kids need to blow off some steam? Try the Family Room - it's filled with toys and learning activities. Phew! That should keep you busy for an hour or two.
