Description
Ride the Monorail for a fun, quick, and convenient link between downtown Seattle and Seattle Center. Traveling high above the city streets, Seattle Center Monorail is the world's first full scale Monorail system and was orginally built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. At Seattle Center visit the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Science Fiction Museum, Pacific Science Center, or one of the other world class attractions near the Monorail station. Or, travel to the heart of downtown Seattle where you will find all major hotels, eateries, and shopping. The downtown Monorail station is also located within easy walking distance of Pike Place Market and several of Seattle's favorite waterfront attractions.

Adult $4.00, Child $1.50
Hours:
Go Seattle Card is valid 9:00 am-5:30 pm daily. Daily;
Departures approximately every 10 minutes. This attraction may occasionally close early due to special events, outside of the control of Go Seattle Card.
Closed
New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.
Driving:
From I-5 North or South: Take exit #167, Mercer Street. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Fairview Ave. Move into the middle lane and follow the road as it curves to the left. Follow the road until you reach 5th Ave N. Turn right and follow to Seattle Center parking.
Public Transportation:
Both Monorail stations are easily accessible by Metro bus. The Monorail Westlake Center station is located directly above the Westlake Metro Transit Tunnel. For complete Metro bus schedules and information visit transit.metrokc.gov or call 206-553-3000.
