Turn your visit into an all-day science adventure – visit the California Science Center's exhibit galleries and watch an IMAX film. The seven-story IMAX screen brings to life worlds as small as an atom and as vast as the universe. Experience an IMAX movie and get the big picture! After your IMAX film, embark on a journey of discovery as you explore over 150 interactive exhibits in our galleries including Ecosystems – a free permanent gallery featuring live animals, seven immersive exhibits, and a 188,000 gallon kelp tank.
Complete your visit by seeing Space Shuttle Endeavour! Start your Endeavour experience with Endeavour: The California Story, an introduction to Endeavour, celebrating its scientific achievements and its strong connection to California. The California Story features: Endeavour’s toilet and galley; tires from STS-134; and the Rocketdyne Operations Support Center from Canoga Park, CA that was used to monitor the first 8.5 minutes of every shuttle launch. Afterwards, see Endeavour up close in the Samuel Oschin Pavilion, and discover the science and technology behind one of the most advanced transportation systems ever created.
While admission to permanent exhibits is FREE, you will need your Go Los Angeles® Card for the IMAX; special paid exhibitions will need to be paid seperately. The Science Center is located in beautiful Exposition Park, just south of Downtown Los Angeles..
