The show opens in the “neon boneyard,” a resting place of those beautiful signs that defined the city during its glory days. The icons are soon sparked back to life by their caretaker, Ernie, who is determined to show visitors TRUE Las Vegas entertainment.
Soon… showgirls, singers, dancers, and a live “big band” join Ernie on stage, taking you on a musical journey through the decades and telling the story of the most dynamic performers who helped make Vegas the “Entertainment Capital of the World.”
VEGAS! The Show is written by theater owner David Saxe who quite literally grew up in Vegas show business. His mother was a showgirl in Folies Bergere and his father was a bandleader for The Rat Pack, so Saxe spent plenty of time backstage looking on as these theatrical shows were prepared, practiced, and performed. VEGAS! The Show is the product of years and years behind the scenes that truly captures the essence of Las Vegas show business.
