One of the most unique features of New York City is its esteemed Central Park. Both a National Historic Landmark as well as the most visited urban park in the United States, it is a critical piece of New York City’s distinctive character. On the 2-hour Central Park Bike Tour, you’ll experience the most notable landmarks and discover what makes Central Park such an alluring marvel.

With your set of wheels, you’ll have the opportunity to stop at many of the iconic, essential attractions of Central Park, including the Cherry Hill fountain, Strawberry Fields and Imagine Mosaic, Shakespeare Garden, Belvedere Castle, the Great Lawn, and so much more! The sensation of being surrounded by such lush nature, framed within a sea of towering skyscrapers is truly surreal. By the time your tour is over, you’ll have a profound understanding of why it has served as a muse to many artists, filmmakers, designers, writers, and beyond.

Central Park was initially opened in 1857 on 778 acres of city-owned land. In 1858, designers Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux won a design competition and the opportunity to expand and develop the land. Construction was completed in 1873, and it has since become widely understood as the most filmed location in the world. With its numerous erected statues, art installations, vibrant flora, and lively fauna, Central Park serves as New York City’s oasis – an escape from urbanity.

Experience the many wonders in style on the 2-hour Central Park Bike Tour. Your bike rental comes with a helmet, a chain lock, and a bike basket – all the necessities for a pleasant day of New York City sightseeing!
