Visit Gulliver's Gate, a whimsical miniature world ranked one of the ‘Top 100 Things to Do in NYC’ on tripadvisor® and located right in Times Square, and be transported around the world through model-makers’ incredible re-creations of iconic cities and landmarks—all 87 times smaller than their ‘real-life’ versions.
Gulliver’s Gate is the result of collaboration by over 600 artists and model-makers from various countries, super-creative visions, advanced engineering techniques, and highly detailed workmanship. As you tour the displays, you’ll also get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the production process and might even get to see some of the artists and engineers at work!
You’ll get a ‘Souvenir Key’ that lets you control all of the interactive scenes in the displays with special effects like lighting, sound, and even animation—watch a monk descend the face of a cliff, party in Santorini, watch zombie mummies come ‘alive’ in the African Pyramids, see the Loch Ness Monster swim, and lots more.
New York City visitors and inhabitants alike will especially appreciate the miniature interpretation of NYC, with iconic buildings like Rockefeller Center, New York Public Library, Grand Central Terminal, and more—it’s a unique experience to be able to see them in real life and then their likenesses in miniature form.
Other destinations you can explore (in addition to North America) in miniature include Europe, Asia, Latin America, Russia, and the Middle East and you’ll even get to get to see a fully operational airport with flying planes, in addition to other transportation displays.
