You’ll learn about early Hawaiian aquaculture practices while boating around the fishpond and then get to pick and sample in-season fruit right from the surrounding grove trees in the picturesque tropical garden.

Your guide will take you around in a canoe to show the 800 year old fishpond ancient Hawaiians built to sustain an abundant supply of fish. You’ll get a first-hand look at the techniques ancient Hawaiian residents used that helped their economic livelihood and establish a tradition of fruit growing.

This tour only operates on Sundays and Federal holidays.
Tour departs at 8:45 am, 9:15 am, 10:30 am, 11:00 am, 11:30 am, 11:45 am, 12:45 am and 1:00 pm.
Monday-Saturday with the exception of Federal holidays; Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Kualoa is just 45 minutes from Waikiki. Take the H-1 Freeway west to the Likelike Highway, Route #63. Proceed up the Likelike Highway and through the Wilson Tunnel. Descend towards Kane'ohe town and exit onto Kahekili Highway, Route #83, heading north. Continue along Kahekili Highway - note that the road becomes Kamehameha Highway as you pass the historic "Hygienic Store" in the village of Kahaluau. In about 10 minutes you will see signs indicating you are approaching the Kualoa entrance which will be on your left as you round the curve past Mokoli'i sland (Chinaman's Hat).
