What your ZooTampa ticket includes
Your ZooTampa ticket will grant you entrance to the zoo and its five different themed habitat zones, as well as the Water Play Area, kid-friendly rides and a myriad of dining options.
As soon as you step foot onto the zoo’s expansive campus, you’ll see the Free-Flight Aviary and the Manatee Fountain. You can start your journey here by entering the aviary and splashing around at macaw pond. Or, you can kick off your animal expedition at one of the five continent-themed habitats and return to the Main Entrance later to grab a bite to eat at Garden Grille.
Each habitat showcases different animals that hail from Asia, South Africa, Australia and even Florida. From leopards, tigers, and bears to manatees and wallabies, the diverse range of animals you’ll encounter will make your zoo experience all the better. With your ZooTampa tickets, you’ll be able to spend the entire day coming face-to-face with your favorite animals from all over the world.
Aside from visiting the gorgeous creatures that call the zoo home, you’ll also be able to hop on a few thrill rides throughout the day. Take a spin on the Jungle Carousel at Carousel Circle atop your favorite animal – choose from zebras, horses and lions. If the sun is beating down on you, visit the Water Play Area in Wallaroo Station. The refreshing waterpark-like area is perfect for kids to run around and splash through the water. You can even test your bravery on the Tasmanian Tiger Coaster.
The best part about visiting the zoo is that you’ll be able to combine a day of fun with a day of learning. At ZooTampa, conservation and wildlife preservation are their main priorities. With campaigns like Recycle-It Matters and Reduce Single Use Plastics, the team at ZooTampa goes beyond animals and works to create a better and more sustainable world for all of us. As parents, you’ll love that your children can have fun while learning, and as kids, you’ll love the chance to help your favorite furry creatures.
