Brief description:

See Shanghai from above! The observation deck at Jin Mao Tower sits on the 88th floor and is one of the tallest buildings in the world.

The building was designed by Chicago-based architect Adrian R. Smith, who also designed famous landmarks like Burj Khalifa in Dubai and Zifeng Tower in China. Smith aimed to create a large structure that would combine traditional Chinese style with the new architectural trends of the time. It’s safe to say he accomplished his goal with the 1,380ft tall marvel that attracts millions of visitors each year.
