The Lyrebird Pass is one of the best ways to see and experience the top sights in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area—you’ll get admission to the Blue Mountains Explorer Bus all day hop-on hop-off pass which takes you all around the Blue Mountains, plus, same-day unlimited rides on the Skyway, Cableway, and Scenic Railway at Katoomba’s Scenic World.

Blue Mountains Explorer Bus Tour:
See the sights of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at your own pace with this fully-narrated, hop-on hop-off bus tour—the most convenient way to get around to all the top sites. The strategically planned bus route includes over 30 stops you can hop on or off at, including Katoomba Falls (where you can use your Lyrebird Pass for unlimited rides on the Skyway, Cableway, and world’s steepest railway), Scenic World, Echo Point – Three Sisters, Leura Cascades, Leura Village/Wentworth Falls, and more.

Buses run on approximately 30-minute intervals, so you’ll never have to wait long at any given stop before another bus arrives to continue your tour. Or, if you just want to see all the sights with your local expert guide, stay on the bus for the whole 60-minute route.

Unlimited Pass to Katoomba’s Scenic World:
Your pass includes one day of unlimited access three thrilling rides:

  • Skyway: ‘float’ on air from one cliff top to another in a glass-enclosed pod for stunning views of the Blue Mountains landscape – you’ll get one of the best views of the Three Sisters rock formation, Katoomba Falls, and Jamison Valley. Don’t forget to look down – the bottom of your pod is made of electro-glass, so you can see right through it!
  • Cableway: take a ride on the steepest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere for a unique vantage point for viewing the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary, Katoomba Falls, and more. At the bottom, you can get off and walk through 2.4k of Jurassic rainforest.
  • Scenic Railway: exit a cliff-side tunnel and ride the world’s steepest railway at a 52-degree incline (though you can adjust your seat’s incline based on preferences—64-degrees for the ultimate, thrill-seeker experience) and plunge into the Jurassic rainforest where you can walk along the 2.4k Scenic Walkway.
